SMACKDOWN LIVE PREVIEW

May Week 1.


24 hours ago on Monday Night RAW, Triple H and the new Authority (Shawn Michaels, Batista, Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, and Shane McMahon) made their presence known. They laid waste to World Heavyweight Champion John Cena, WWE Champion Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns among countless others.

Tonight with Money in the Bank 3 weeks away, The Authority have already made some matches for Cena and Orton. Cena will meet Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship. Randy Orton will meet Vince McMahon for the WWE Title. One has to wonder what Cena and Orton have in store to payback the new Authority.

Ivory made her return last night to the WWE and she let her intentions be known in attacking SmackDown's Women's Champion Bayley. Stephanie McMahon has announced that Ivory will face Bayley for the title at Money in the Bank.

The WWE Tag Team Champions The Hardy Boyz picked up a win over The Usos last night and Triple H has announced that tonight the Hardy Boyz will defend their WWE Tag Team Championship vs The B Team.

SMACKDOWN LIVE

May Week 1.

Calgary, Canada


The fireworks go off and it's officially time for SMACKDOWN LIVE! Coming to you from Calgary Canada!

"You can't see me" blares throughout the Arena and out walks World Heavyweight Champion John Cena to a mixed reaction from the crowd like always.

He stands in the middle of the ring eyeing the WWE Universe with a serious look on his face. He places the World title over his shoulder before speaking.

Cena: "Last night Triple H and the new Authority made their intentions clear. It's obvious they want to ruin everybody's lives again. It's 2013 all over again. So now Hunter it's you and me in a No Holds Barred match at Money in the Bank. Let's not even wait.

Cena throws the title down and the 17 time World Champion is ready for a fight.

Triple H and the Authority stand on the stage all smirks.

H: "Cena you have to wait until Money in the Bank for me to kick your *** again. But don't worry tonight you will get a taste of what's coming when you team with Randy Orton to face myself, Shane McMahon, and the Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels in a handicap match."

As the Authority leaves, Cena is attacked from behind by Batista with a vicious Spinebuster and a Spear.

The Champ is left lying again.

Alexa Bliss VS Nikki Bella W/ Brie Bella

Winner: Alexa Bliss


Afterwards, Bliss grabs a chair and lays waste to the Bella Twins before pointing at the Money in the Bank sign knowing she has a spot.

Backstage we see the new Tag Team of Power and Glory. (The Big Show and Andre the Giant with Bobby Heenan.) They talk about how this is the team that everybody wanted to see. They say they will take the Tag Team Division by storm and tonight The New Day will be their next target.

We see the WWE Tag Team Champions The Hardy Boyz being interviewed. They say tonight The Authority can throw at them whatever but they will still be the WWE Tag Team Champions.

Match 2: Power and Glory VS New Day

Backstage we see The Authority in their locker room. They say that no one can stop them this time and that Cena and Orton will find that out the hard way.

Seth Rollins VS Baron Corbin

Winner: Seth Rollins

Rollins grabs a microphone and says first he's focusing on Money in the Bank and afterwards he will deal with The Authority.

Mickie James VS Jacqueline

Winner: Mickie James

Jacqueline shakes Mickie's hand and the two embrace in a moment of respect.

Match 6: Dean Ambrose(c) VS Eric Young

Before this match even got underway, Ambrose was attacked from behind by Kane with a chair. Kane then chokeslammed Ambrose on the ramp before posing with the Intercontinental Championship.

As Dean Ambrose is slow to his feet, Vince McMahon appears on the Titantron informing us that at Money in the Bank, Dean Ambrose will defend his Intercontinental Championship against Kane!

Match 7 The Wyatt Family VS Heavy Machinery

Winners: The Wyatt Family

Match 8: Drew McIntyre VS Heath Slater

Winner: Drew McIntyre

Afterwards, United States Champion Rey Mysterio jumps the barricade and attacks Drew McIntyre for payback from last night. Rey leaves through the fans again sending a message to his newest challenger.

Match 9: John Cena Randy Orton VS Authority

Winners: John Cena and Randy Orton.

Orton dropped Shane McMahon with an RKO to win the match. Afterwards it was all out chaos. Triple H, Batista, HBK, and Vince stormed the ring to attack the Champions. Orton was about to RKO Triple H but Stephanie gave him a lowblow which allowed Triple H to drop Orton with a Pedigree.

Cena throwing right hands at the McMahons until Triple H drops him with a Pedigree as well. The Authority stands tall tonight.

With NXT TakeOver: Rival just 4 days away, NXT General Manager William Regal has made some huge matches to determine who faces who at Rival.

NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler will not be in action tonight but she will be at Commentary to witness who faces her for her Championship.
Tonight Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, Candice LeRae, and Toni Storm will battle in a Fatal 4 Way Match to see who will face Baszler.

The NXT Tag Team Champions The Street Profits will face The Forgotten Sons in a non title match. GM Regal said that if The Forgotten Sons can pick up a win over the Profits they will earn a Tag Team Championship Match at Rival.

In the Main Event, The NXT Champion Adam Cole will be on Commentary to witness a huge Ladder Match to determine who will be the #1 Contender for his NXT Championship.

Kushida, EC3, Roderick Strong, Jaxson Ryker, Tyler Bate, and Cameron Grimes will all battle for the Contract to be #1 Contender for the NXT Championship.
