NCAA 14 Servers have been "sunset"

NCAA 14 has been officially "sunset' by EA. They will no longer have a server to access online content like rosters and dynasties.

Well, it's not unlikely that the person working the chat isn't from the states.

Hope y'all all had a chance to get the last several years of rosters.

No. Digital downloads and patches are not hosted on the game's servers.

If this is true, thank god I got the game earlier this week and was able to download the updated rosters.

They’ve been marked for sunset. Basically means they’ll be shutting them down soon

Hopefully the reason for the shut down is that there will be a new game in July?!?! That will force people to buy it?

Do we know the date they'll go offline? Do they even inform people or does it just get shut down at random?

even if the servers go down, people can still just go to the rosters page and download the offline zip file and transfer it to your PS3 via USB.... no need to download in the game.

NCAA 14 isn't on their list of shutdowns[0]. At least not yet...

Yeah, hopefully that means that there will be a new game in the near future. But they always give at least a month’s notice, so that means we do have a good amount of time to still download rosters. This game to me, even though it is the best football game of all time, is just a holdover until the next NCAA Football game.
