QB locks up on option plays

Not sure if there is a thread on this or no, but does anyone else have the QB locking up (not moving) when you run an option play?
It happens quite often with me.
I am building a dynasty and I figured the option was the best starting playbook.
If it has happened to you, how did you fix it?

it does happen and i had it occur few times, but i dont remember which ones caused it. I just dont run those plays that causes my qb to lock up

It does happen on specific plays. I believe you are able to spot which plays lock up QBs on pre-play playarts. Most of the plays are where you can spot the the RB route/action overlaps the QB or run into each other. I know there's a option play in Wingbone where the wing back runs into the QB before he's to the handoff animation every time so it cause the QB to spin around and just scrambles.
It is most likely because they didn't test every play multiple times before releasing the game.

I remember quite a while ago linking it to either running no-huddle and/or flipping the play while at the line after running no-huddle. Same can be said for most, if not all jet sweeps. Also, possibly some effect when using lower speed threshold settings.
What are some of the formations you are seeing this in?

It also happens periodically while running no-huddle.

It happens on no huddle when the back or qb don’t line up in the right spot. One of them maybe a half step off of where he should line up and the back and qb graze shoulders. Happens a lot in the pistol

Yeah, if you could specify which option play or what you are doing (no huddle, flipping the play, etc.) it may explain the reason for you.

I figured it out.
It was because of QB's AWR rating.
It was every option play, not hurry up, just selecting from play menu.
When he progressed and his AWR went up, the play runs perfectly.
Do not put dumb QBs as option QB.

Dunno, there's bugs that happen occasionally on play action plays and jet sweeps where the QB remains in the 'handoff' pose and holds the ball, sometimes for the duration of the play, sometimes for just a second. Doesn't happen on every play. There's also an unfortunate [I assume] bug where if you place a non-qb in the QB spot he will be utterly unable to complete option tosses - he'll just toss it behind the RB every single time. Happened when I used a specific WR as the backup QB so that I could easily swap to him without having to mess with formation subs. Not sure what happens on pass plays because I never tried one, and read option worked fine. It was just speed option plays that had this bug.

I think I found a fix for this. I have been trying a pistol playbook lately and messing with different things. If you go no huddle and choose a read option play, which is when it happened most frequently for me, you must wait until everyone is set at the line before choosing your play. If you wait until everyone is set, I have not seen it happen. I have not tried this with any other formations aside from pistol.
