    New Era Wrestling (EWR Game)

    February 26th 2020

In news that seemingly came out of nowhere, a new pro wrestling company has come forward known as New Era Wrestling.

There is very little information known about this new company, except they seem to have backing of someone or someones very wealthy as they are making it clear they plan to go big and be a player in the business.

At this time there is no word on the owners of this company, and as of now we have no names as to who will be a part of the company, whether that is in power or in the ring, causing wrestling fans and insiders to speculate all kinds of names as to who we could see.

All we can report at this time is the company will have a weekly show airing on Monday Nights, and a monthly pay per view the last Sunday of each month.

So tune in this Monday as we see the debut of NEW Fight Night

      Breaking News

With just a few days before the debut of New Era Wrestling on television, we have our first bit of information on names connected with the company as NEW made the following announcements:

"We believe to truly have the future of NEW be bright and led in a positive direction, we needed to find people to put in power that could focus on specific parts of the company, which is why we have made the following 2 hirings.

To be the one to lead the Womens Division, and insure that the future of women's wrestling is bright and continues to grow, those in charge of NEW are pleased to announce the Head of the Women's Division... Former champion Trish Stratus!

And in a similar mindset, we felt it was important to find someone to run our men's division who not only has a long history in our business on top of the mountain, but also we wanted someone with some experience in a booking position. So, we are excited to announce the Head of the Men's Division, Former World Champion Kevin Nash!"

So there you have it, Kevin Nash has been named as head of talent for the men of NEW, and Trish Stratus will be head of talent for the women... speculation is already beginning on how this will go, will we see old friends of either appear in NEW? Will these 2 former champions be able to resist the urge to lace up the boots and just be content being in a position of power? Only time will tell

            Fight Night Preview

As we sit just 24 hours before the debut of New Era Wrestling, some names have been announced for the debut show, fans and insiders all speculating on some surprise appearances as well.

We have our first bit of news for the first episode, after being announced as members of the roster, Nzo and Big Cazz took to social media to brag about being the only tag team with the guts to join this new company.

Head of Talent Kevin Nash was not happy with this and made the following announcement...

"Since Nzo & Cazz want to talk about being the only tag team with the guts to sign with NEW, and want to talk about being the best, this Monday on the debut edition of NEW Fight Night, they will be in competition... but boys since you think you are so good, we will leave your opponents as a surprise... good luck!"

Speculation is already running wild who could the team be who shows up to take on Nzo & Cazz

                Fight Night Preview

Closing in on the next episode of NEW Fight Night, NEW has released the following preview on what to expect:

After their match got interrupted and called a no contest, Turbo and James Ellsworth will team up to take on the man who attacked them last week Bully Ray in 2-1 handicap match

Rosemary, Taryn Terrell and Brooke will compete in a triple threat match after Rosemary attacked the other two women with a chair after their match.

Nzo and Big Cazz, upset after having surprise opponents last week, challenged the Lucha Brothers to a rematch this week to show they were caught by surprise last show.

and speculation continues as to what faces we could see show up this week and make their debuts in NEW.

"March 29th, New Era Wrestling hits pay per view for the first time as we present Road to Gold. On that night we will see 16 men compete in a one night tournament to be crowned the first NEW World Champion.

But this will not be a regular tournament... these 16 men will be divided into 4 separate 4 way matches, and the winners of those matches will then compete in the main event that same night with the championship on the line.

So over the next 2 weeks I will be evaluating talent to see who is deserving of this opportunity."

                        FIGHT NIGHT PREVIEW

This week is the final Fight Night before New Era Wrestling makes its pay per view debut with Road to Gold, and it is set to be a big night.

In the main event we will see Shayna Baszler, Sonya Deville, Candice LeRae, and Rosemary all compete to be crowned the first New Era Wrestling women's champion.

After being attacked backstage and having his match interfered in, Ryback has challenged The Colons (Carlito, Epico, Primo) to a 6 man tag match, saying he has 2 partners ready to go.

After Bully Ray used Brass Knuckles last week to pick up a win over Brodie lee, these 2 will compete once again, this time in a hardcore match.

And this is the last show for superstars to impress Kevin Nash before the one night 16 man tournament to crown the inaugural World Champion.

Also in surprising news, just weeks after signing their contracts, Trish Stratus has announced the mutual release of the following superstars:

                        Brooke
                        Taryn Terrell
                        Lisa Marie Varon
                        Kaitlyn

leading some fans to speculate this could be due to possible debuts of new women over the this weeks show as well as the pay per view.

                            ROAD TO GOLD PREVIEW

With New Era Wrestling set to make its Pay Per View debut with Road to Gold, fans are still waiting to see who the 16 men will be that compete for the World Championship.

On this night we will see 4 matches featuring 4 superstars each, the winners of those 4 matches will then compete in the main event in one more 4 way match, with the winner being crowned the inaugural World Champion.

This will be the focus of the pay per view, but many are wondering what else we could see... will any tag teams try to establish their presence? Will the women want to try and step up and take the focus away from the men? Tune in and see.
