Which Web Browser Do You Use?

I use Waterfox, which is like Firefox but made out of water.

I also use Chrome as my secondary browser, since some pages seem to run better on it. Could never use it as my main browser because once you get over a certain number of tabs it basically becomes useless since they have never heard of a scrolling tabstrip.

    What say you?

Chrome-my biggest complaint is the very occasional inability to open a bookmark folder from the bookmark bar. I've never tried Waterfox.

I use DuckDuckGo on my IPhone. I haven’t tried it on my IPad yet. Been using it for about 2 weeks.

EDIT: Works great on my IPad too. I guess I didn't immediately download it for the Pad because all browsers on it have fallen short including the once capable Cake.

Superfast-the Fire button will close all tabs and clear data and bring you to the DuckDuckGo dedicated search page. Simple clean interface with most usable buttons being the fire, bookmark, and tab(s).

Aside from that silly water joke, I switched to Waterfox after Firefox's latest "big" update 2 years ago or so which killed a lot of my add-ons. Was willing to put up with a lot but then they killed the one that allowed me to save/restore my tabs and that turned me into "get off my lawn", "I'm not changing!" guy.

                I use Chrome.

I used Firefox for many years, even after it stopped being the top browser, but switched to Chrome a few years ago.

I still use incognito mode when shopping. Dont want to see targeted things based on my shopping trends.

Used to use Safari everywhere, but got a PC over Xmas. I use Microsoft Edge on it, and like it pretty well.

My wife used Chrome, but I’m not a fan.

I've been using Brave on my laptop and iPhone for the last week or so and, I have to say, I'm really impressed with the speed and security options. It seamlessly syncs bookmarks across devices as well. Prior to this, I've used Firefox on my laptop and Safari on my iPhone. I never really thought about using a different iPhone browser as the Safari was simple enough, but I'm glad I gave Brave a shot. It's super fast and very clean/minimalistic.

Firefox for years. Tried Chrome for a bit but I remember it had some issues with older NVIDIA drivers/Google Privacy issues plus it was demanding so I went back to Firefox with Ublock Origin and Umatrix.

Re: Which Web Browser Do You Use?

I use Google chrome better browser than others.

Search in the address bar - Unlike other browsers that have two bars - address bar and search bar, Google chrome has just one bar for both purposes. Moreover, it also gives your search suggestions right there.

Clean interface - The interface is ineed clean without any mess to jump on to get where you want to.

Addons & Extensions - While chrome has fewer of these compared to Firefox, it still is pretty convenient and useful.

Incognito Mode - If you do not want to worry about cleaning browser history, download hitory, and cookies, icognito mode is the perfect mode to browse since it clears all of these off once you close the browser.

Task Manager - View the resource (CPU, memory, cache, process id et al) allocation for every tab. Moreover, it lets you End process for any tab that’s giving you an issue or is unresponsive.

Developer’s console - Can speak about this for hours. However, to be concise:

Rapid Debugging - Shows errors in the console and navigates you to the problematic code upon click. You can even set debug pointers in the JavaScript files located in the Sources tab.

On-the-fly style changes - You can see the result of your code by making changes directly in the browser. You can edit the DOM elements and change CSS code for testing.

Network monitoring - The network panel records information about each network operation on a page, including detailed timing data, HTTP request and response headers, cookies, and more.

Security - It employs Sandboxing method which blocks malware and isolates every tab from spreading any problem. Since every tab has it’s own process id, it can be killed with the task manager.

Help and Support - The forum lets you submit the issues you face and also helps you keep aware of the known issues in the product.

Internet Speed- It serves the best Internet Speed, Download Speed and Upload Speed.
