MLB THE SHOW 20: Carry Over Glitch Fix

I wanted to take this time to share my knowledge to everyone here today.

I have read and seen my fellow roster editors encounter this problem and willing to just give up doing what they enjoy doing.

* The issue is say you have a roster or players (created) on a previous show game and you spent a great amount of time getting there face to look like them in the previous games then as your moving them to 20 they lose all that work you did on there face.

Normally they get the glitched locked face or there face turns to one of the generics.

This is how you fix the above issues my fellow editors.

1. No matter where your starting from MLB 17, 18, or 19 just go on your player or each player there face gets changed on 20 go to previous years game and all you half to do is edit there audio name to something in there. I personally use

First Name: Big Daddy

Last name: Bobo

2. Once you done this make a new franchise or carry yours over but the roster control option has to be on if your wanting to export your players.

3. Then you will carry that over to the next years game until your back to MLB 20. Edit there audio name back to there real name if it's in data base or just leave blank, but there face will stay how you originally had it.

I never had that problem with loading my Legend roster over to mlb20. My problem started when I did some roster work on the Redsox legend team I had and after a couple saves and auto roster fixes I noticed some players were missing from the team. I went into player search and they showed up in the search on the Redsox mlb team exactly how I left them but when I go back into roster managment they are not there. This has put my roster building on hold until it hopefully gets sorted out soon.

If these players are in class A level they wont show up on the free agent screen or trade screen.

Try moving a player to double A or AAA and see if that solves the issue.

I should have mentioned that I am aware of the single A spot players not showing up under trades or line ups but they should still be showing up under Manage Roster/ Import Player no matter what league there in and they are just not there. But they are there under search. Been noticing players just vanishing from my live roster also. It does seem to be a glitch and I read a post from a guy that posted last year on mlb 19 who had the same problem last year. Last years problem must have been patched. Only hoping the same for this year as this is the first time I have experienced this and a lot of work went into my custom roster only to have players vanish and get stuck in some cloud only to be seen in player search.

I should have mentioned that I am aware of the single A spot players not showing up under trades or line ups but they should still be showing up under Manage Roster/ Import Player no matter what league there in and they are just not there. I have noticed this and it may have something to do with the MLB new rules on roster spots. I noticed that if I had more than 13 pitchers in majors, my guys would dissappear. Once I moved guys down to Aaa or AA and kept 13 or less, my caps reappeared. I haven't noticed any of my position players.

Same thing is happening to me. They need to fix this.. I have spent a week plus on my roster and just relaized this today. If these players are lost for good I'll lose my mind!!!!

I'm reading more and more people have this problem also. people becoming aware of it now that the game has been explored more. People downloading rosters from the vault and finding out through editing like I did.

I'm reading more and more people have this problem also. people becoming aware of it now that the game has been explored more. People downloading rosters from the vault and finding out through editing like I did.

Hopefully it is patched soon. I haven't noticed with my roster but I haven't started a franchise yet with it

I do have a back up roster to restore them. I just tried that now so that I could restore all the lost players and save it and wait for the patch to come out but the problem is the players that went missing also took that roster spot with them so what should be a full 90 man roster in some cases are an 85 man roster or a 82 man roster depending on how many players are missing so this becomes impossible to do because there's no roster spot to replace him with when the player is somehow still registering that he is still on the team...

Just going to wait this out now and play a glitchy RTTS career. Good luck to you.
