Help with analog hitting!

I use analog / zone and I constantly struggle with unintentional check swings.

What is the mechanic that leads to this? Can anyone point me in the right direction to learn more about analog swings?

Also are there any pre-pitch direction influence options with analog hitting?

Are you sure your are not just flicking the R stick and then letting it go instead of holding it in the upward position?

Lucky you, using directional I can't check swing to save my life.

Seems to be with high contact/vision guys, it will auto check for you sometimes on pitches out of the zone, or even borderline pitches. I don’t think there’s a way to turn this off, but I honestly don’t mind since it brings ratings into play a bit more and makes me look better in the process.

I found I needed more "follow through" was having same issue, I now hold the stick forward til contact is made instead of flicking like I use to. Also helps when I actually wanting to check my swing.
