This is kinda tough because JD is such an elite hitter but doesn’t have much value because his contract and he’s a DH. The website has his value at 8.9. You’ll have to include Jordan Zimmerman for salaries to work which is ok because it gives Boston another SP and he’s on his last year. Maybe something like Zimmerman, Daniel Norris and a pitching prospect like Alex Faedo?
Honestly not sure about this one but I thought I’d try to help you. Boston gets out of JDs contract and takes on one similar in Zimmerman but just for 1 year. Norris and Faedo give them two young pitching arms which they need.
