I'm fairly confident that most console gamers play on tv's. That said I use both, it depends on which room I feel like playing in.

I played on a gaming monitor until I got my new TV, which pretty much is a gaming monitor.

The line is starting to blur these days.

I just switched from a Samsung 65" w 60ms input lag to a 1ms input lag gaming monitor. Man alive....i was so early on pitches my swing would be finished before the ball arrived. Cranked pitch speed up to 8 (was at 6) and ive scored 29 runs in my first 4 game franchise on legend. Was playing on legend before but struggling to score 4 runs a game with my contact slider cranked up to 9. I have it back at 5 and am crushing. The big thing i have not seen discussed when it comes to input lag is pci accuracy. Having a pci that responds in real time makes it mush easier to square balls up. I can turn on balls now...never could do that before. its a completely different experience on a monitor i cant believe ive been playing so long without one

I have a 4K QLED TV but I get absolutely horrendous framerate drops on pitches about once every 1-2 innings. I don't know what causes it and I've tried playing with HDR on and off, nothing fixes it.

What resolution do you play on? Faster, balanced or sharp? If you play on anything other than faster dips are to be expected and honestly dips happen on faster as well, just not as harsh. Dips in fps can also be contributed to the particular stadium and the camera view.

Monitor for me. LG 27GL83A-B. If only the game was on PC so I could take advantage of the 1440p 144hz.

You just plug it in like you would a TV. What do you mean by lag?

Currently a TV. Would like to change to a monitor but i might wait to see if The Show comes to PC or not.

If you're getting more lag on a monitor then it's probably a really crummy one.

Gaming monitors should crush all but the most modern of TVs in terms of response times.

It's only in the past couple of years where TVs have started to catch up.

I used to play PS3 on computer monitor. Whenever I play only The Show I get lag. Any other game is good.
