Love this Kobe one! I like the way you did it too as your'e right he never would have been drafted higher! Great to see he keeps the 33 from High School! Lot of work to do with that 76ers squad!

Just read through to catch up. Great idea and presentation! The SAS article was spot on as was the Kobe/MJ matchup.

That winning three is the clutch Kobe we all knew.

Thanks, brother! Yeah, after reading some Kobe features and articles from that draft, there was no way he would have gone 1st. (Iverson and Webber make a nice storyline in Washington as well).

Picked Kobe 8th just as an easter egg -- I think I won't give him #8 since it had no real meaning (he had that number in Italy, but when joining LA it was just the sum of his Adidas camp numbers) but I will give him #24 some time down the road, for sure. And yes, lots of work to do with the roster...

How did it go so bad for Stackhouse?

Smoother and smoother every game! Stack had Rick Fox over him most of the game, but he also missed, if I remember correctly, three completely open jumpers. It was definitely strange. These are his last months with the team, anyway.
