Is it just me? Homeruns

Is it just me or did the last couple patches send the homerun frequency through the roof? I’m giving up homeruns all over the place on pitches that should not be getting hit out of the park. Is this me only or are other people experiencing this?

Nothing has changed for me in respect to the number of homeruns being hit. Still the same as it was previously.

I’m giving up a few more. Nothing too alarming but there has been a recent increase.

Turn the wind slider down and see if that makes a difference. Seems to have helped for me.

Nothing has changed for me in respect to the number of homeruns being hit. Still the same as it was previously.

Same for me, I don't feel anything has really changed as far as HR's are concerned. Granted, I do think there is probably a tad too many HR's being hit.

Not sure what mode you are playing, but, as far as DD I have given up more homers since the patch than I did the entire time before that.

I wish they kept a stat showing what percent of a teams’s runs are scored via home run. I feel like it’s way higher in the game than real life but it seems like it’s always been that way. I’m not noticing any more home runs than usual since the recent patches

I primarily play franchise (default sliders right now) and I feel like power has been decreased. Even if I hit a perfect/perfect fly ball with like Gary Sanchez it barely goes out.

Edit: to add to that, I get a lot of good/good good/okay that just turn into lazy fly ball outs.

I am 141 games in on franchise. Legend/Zone and have hit 292 home runs in season. On pace to hit over 330 team home runs.

Yup way too many HRs, have u tried legend plus? Perhaps that will help bring the numbers back down?

I have not. If there was a way to set difficulty at that then I would use it, but with dynamic difficulty I find the ebbs and swings of the season impact the difficulty making it hard to lock on to a setting. Unless I'm missing an easier way?

I also have human contact down a notch. I may adjust human power too.

Offline? It's just you. The patches have done NOTHING to hitting or pitching all year for offline modes outside of DD.

I would recommend turning HUM timing down 1. I did and noticed a huge difference. Not just in difficulty but also hit variety. I hit on HOF so can't speak to legend difficulty. Went from averaging 2+ HR per game to 1.7.

For reference I've hit 163 homeruns thru 131 games in franchise.
