Awesome! I wish they could bring back the games with their original soundtracks, but I understand the licensing issues must be difficult, and also at this point those songs are like 15-20 years old, so they probably want something a little more contemporary...

According to the interview on IGN, all but a couple of songs from the original soundtracks will be in, which of course they would, because that music specifically was such a big part of the heart and soul of THPS

As one of the few people out there who seemed to enjoy the Tony Hawk PS HD XBox Arcade re-release a while back, I'm pretty stoked about a full-on re-master.

Moreover, for those who had an issue with the floaty mechanics of the HD release, I've heard they've gone with the original code so it should handle like the OGs.

Thanks for this. The latter part of the THPS 2 soundtrack reminds me of how deprived I was to play Tony Hawk on N64 all those years. Apparently way fewer songs and edited down.

I hope they can come to terms with The Ernies for "Here and Now". That was my go-to in THPS 1.

Honestly, the entire Tony Hawk series broadened my musical reach a great deal over the years and I'm pretty appreciative of that.

I wish they were remaking the 3rd one too.

I'm holding out a little bit of hope for some additional downloadable courses post-release, if nothing else. That's what the Tony Hawk PS HD version did anyway (Canada and Airport were added post-release, possibly others).

Arguably the game with the most legendary soundtrack. I still listen to it to this day (yesterday in fact).


Glad this is getting a reboot, though you can actually just play the older games. They aged pretty well.


And of course they'd be remaking the others if this gets a lot of buys. But the others weren't as awesome of these.
