    Is it possibly to play a player into a secondary position?

    I was watching a MLB The Show stream and they were saying how, if a player plays so many innings at a position they will have that as a secondary position? I don't have enough experience with the show to know if that's true or false. If it is true then I might spot starting out of position guys for the future of my franchise.
