How EA could save major $$ and Bring NCAA Football back NOW!

    1) Make all players the same out of the box (ex: all with green skin and 4’ tall with all the ratings/abilities/traits same) & all coaches generic also thereby paying out to no one

—Allow users to then change appearance/body type/face/skin color/name/whatever players & coaches both as desired & develop a very Extensive/EASY user friendly skill/trait editing system to do so (either offline/online or both) & then, most importantly: easy file sharing of rosters, etc
-This would include a thorough explanation of how ratings/traits are designed to work in an open manner & thru close contact with users constantly refine it (allow the users of the game help you create a better & better game)

-****To reiterate: Trust that college football fans themselves will do a much better job doing this then a paid staff would/could ever do——EA could save major $ here

1.1) ****Make deals with ALL colleges/conferences that plainly state a large % of fees paid to college MUST go to general academic scholarships/school library funds which is point of college, after all

1.2) Get FOOTBALL Gameplay ON THE FIELD absolutely as correct/smooth as much as humanly possible
—Make sure those creating playbooks have played OR better yet have coached @ college level
    & all blocking/stunting/audibles have been checked/vetted for logic/realism
-Add extensive HISTORICAL (football is all about the rediscovery/recycling of concepts) playbooks that WORK

    2) Focus-FOCUS exclusively on replicating the college atmosphere:
-marching band music (fight songs, unique school songs beyond fight songs)
-older versions of NCAA football (ps2/Xbox) did this well—MENUS had different School Songs playing with IDs for songs****(not the synthesized, watered down NFL music that was in 2014=horrid elevator Muzak)
-Bring back short vid clips of students, etc dressed up for games chanting in support of their respective schools in opening menu—again bring the school spirit back into the game whenever possible as accurately as possible.

    4) Get stadiums correct —-2014 did this well (show cutscenes ofcampus highpoints too)

    5) Get crowd noise right—overly right....Make sure crowd reaction fits the situation on the field

-Allow users to layer on more crowd noise sounds

    6) Begin basic but get a flawlessly functioning FRANCHISE MODE & EXTensively Year x Year IMPROVE upon it—
-ALSO: keep player gear to very minimum at 1st—only add here when on the field gameplay is flawlessly realistic

7)Allow the micro editing of existing plays (blocking adjustments/stunt&blitz adjustments) IN GAME for Halftime adjustments— no more excuses that certain plays are busted or are money plays = allow us to bring it up to true chess

-Blur players/coaches on sidelines & crowd details like out of focus due to movement photograph (cardboard stick figures suck) Except in specific situations where it fits (nothing worse than home team losing a fumble late in close game and seeing cut scene of home coach getting excited or home fans cheering ——totally blows immersion)

College is MAINLY about the student body and college football’s uniqueness is that spirit mixed with COACHing quirks/styles/abilities/peRsonalities which create unique environments that the NFL (which is its own kool thing) can never touch

Somewhere along the way it has been forgotten that COLLEGE football is mainly about continued traditions/history & only very peripherally about players’ personalities/showiness—leave the professional crud to the pros (over analyzed ESPN over commodification selling of the sport & sucking the soul out of the uniqueness of the amateur game)

End of rant (which EA will never read)ha

"most importantly: easy file sharing of rosters, etc"

This is probably the biggest sticking point to your proposal.

If you mean hosting it on their site would be some sort of legal liability they could always just utilize various methods to open it up...allow users simple export to exterior/independent host(s) and declare it to be out of their hands. Freedom of expression, etc

If, on the other hand, you are making reference to the snafus that have plagued Madden Vault—you may have point.

Bottom line trust in the fans & it will blossom

Lol. I hope you realize, studios have talked to the NCAA and it’s clear, roster editing of any kind will be absent in any future NCAA title. I believe they even stated there would be no numbers either for play names.

I wish they would finish patching 14 and then add the playoff system.

Whatever company is able to make this game, with quality, I will definitely buy. Need all the similar stuff that was created over 5 years ago and then just make it generic (team generics)... Have NO mention of NCAA or any other obstructive entity within the game/title.

There are lots of generic games out there...fans don't support them. Why would they support College Football '22 with the Birmingham Bobcats vs. South Bend Travellers?

                College Football '22.

Pull out a PES like situation. Get a retired College Star, make a mode with them moving through the ranks, etc, this way you can at least have a face to sell the game. Maybe even sign a couple team's worth, so you have the option.

Then build the rest of the game the exact same... with generic names, teams, etc. But give us a full edit suite, etc like PES so we can just important teams and/or rosters. They could even get change up number of teams per division/conference, but make it fully editable.

Nothing NCAA could do. Fans would support it without that many licences, they would be sitting pretty.

The only reason this won't happen is because CUT (College Ultimate Team) wouldn't make them any money. :'(
There are multiple 3rd party games out there. Most people just complain as it is not as polished as NCAA, which is obvious. Either support them, or stop complaining about not having a game.

What are the third-party college football games? I know of several that emulate the pro game, but I'm not aware of any that resemble these college football games.

Maximum football turned into a college football game. That's the only one. Unless you want to do text based simulators.

And that's why I brought up the idea of bringing in a few past college stars to do a mode focused on them.

PES does it yearly. Even the years they lack licenses.

                        Really? Which games? Legitimately asking.

Also, why so salty and telling people what to do? Seems silly.
There are many games released, but these same people who beg for a new game complain that the game is not polished enough. Most do now know the amount of money EA dumped into NCAA and Madden and expect an Indie game to be the same. NCAA 14 had 20 years of work put into it. Most of the Indie games have less than 5. When Maximum Football 19 came out people complained and called it trash. Publisher fixed a ton of issues. People expected MF19 to look like NCAA 14 and be AAA game. Then these same players complain that there is not game. Well, stop complaining or support the Indie publishers.

Currently 1 got released in the past year or so, Maximum Football. There was suppose to be another one but it was a scam or just died. MF 19 was made by 3 guys part time and was Ok, some game play issues but it happens, fixed a ton of stuff. They hired a few new Devs and partnered with Unity so 2020 should be a tom better. It had a fun Recruitment process and Was a good Sim dynasty.

MF is from a Canadian company so MF had a US college dynasty and some Canadian football features.
