Did you replace the file at ux0:user/00/savedata/PCSE00084 ?
Because that would be wrong considering those files are encrypted and you should leave them alone.
You need to replace the file at ux0:data/savegames/PCSE00084/SLOT0 and after that you restore the save with the save manager

I'm pretty sure i did replace it in the correct directory at this point. I've tried multiple times different ways. When you replace it. Is all that i am doing is deleting the original and putting the new one in?

Also, do i need to rename any files?

Yes you just overwrite the old file. That way you know for sure if the filenames are identical.


I'm not sure what to suggest at this point. I had the same problem with this file but once I realized that I replaced the file in the wrong directory it worked without a problem.


You're restoring the file with the Save Manager, right?

Ok, so just be sure, I need to rename the new save file to whatever the original i saved is, then just overwrite it in the correct directory and then restore.

I'm pretty sure i did this, but i'll try again.

Yes that's how I did it. And if it doesn't work you could try to start from scratch and format the save with the Save Manager

Make a save in game and name it the same as my file. Then go to save manager and back up the Madden files. Then transfer my file to the save manager save data spot under data folder. Then restore save under save manager.

Alright, now i'm trying the graphics patch. When i try to run the .bat files i get this in the cmd window



0x073d1967 .
- zlib Z_DATA_ERROR, the data in the file is not in zip format
or uses a different windowBits value (-z). Try to use -z -15


over and over,

Thank you lorak, sorry one more stupid question. How do I install rePatch? Through the link I don't see a download for a vpk file, just a repatch.skprx, is this what you install? Also I'm getting an error when attempting to open the folder decrypted through Vitashell 2.02, is there a fix, or maybe a different version of Vitashell that's preferred? Thanks in advance.

There is no vpk as rePatch is a plugin not an application. Read here.

In Vitashell go to ux0:app, highlight the folder PCSE00084, press triangle and select "Open decrypted" then copy all the files to your computer or to any other folder in your storage card -for example inside ux0:data- to transfer it later to you computer via USB.

Thank you again for your help, that helps explain. I did try that with Vitashell, but I'll try again. I did also make a Maidump of the patch for someone on here a while ago, would that have the files I need decrypted?
