Use Party Buffalo Xbox 360 Drive Explorer v2.x instead of Xport360. Run it with Administrator Privileges. Xplorer360 & Xport360 all have various issues but Party Buffalo worked like a charm. If you insist on using the other two programs, make sure you have the correct version for your hard-drive size, 20gb,60gb,120gb,250gb, etc and that they are also being run with Administrator Privileges. It's a rabbit-hole of different versions so just use Party Buffalo.
