Re: Move cursor when batting ?
I set it in an area of the zone that Im looking for a pitch in and leave it unless there's 2 strikes, which means protecting the entire zone.
This games hitting physics are some of the best I've ever seen. Taking strikes is imperative because pitches on the edges are difficult to hit solidly. You might not strike out a ton but you'll be popping up and hitting weak grounders all day if youre not selective within the strike zone.

Re: Move cursor when batting ?
Yeah, I move the cursor to where I think the pitch is coming. The cursor ends up helping me read balls and strikes. If I lower left, and cursor move down or to the left, it’s probably a ball.
But I move the cusor to square up. But if I pick the right zone, it’s easy to smash it. If I have to move the cursor a long ways I avoid swinging, unless there are two strikes,
If I’m dialed in, there are games where I’m guessing right 75% of the time. When a guy is really good, I trend way worse.Comment

Re: Move cursor when batting ?
I've played about 20 games and my 99 power guys can't hit worth two craps, can barely hit the ball out of the infield, and are big singles hitters. Conversely, my powerless leadoff guy has 6 HRs and 19 RBI in the same time.
I'm played at 40 ego across the board. I was around 60 on SMB2 and hit fine. This new game is becoming increasingly irritating. The franchise is cool, as are the cleaned-up graphics and new parks, but the gameplay is maddeningly frustraiting.Comment
