Re: MLB the Show 21 Wishlist
RTTS: Equipment Contracts. I want to have all diamond equipment but if I want to wear a certain style of Nike batting gloves, it's going to be silver attribute boost. That makes no sense. Instead it should be your agent works with you and you pick out a brand you want to be endorsed by. You start with silver atribute boosts and as you continue your career and achieve stats/accolades/service time whatever, you can upgrade to Gold Attribute boosts. But you can wear whichever style from that brand! If I want to rock only Nike, my shine guard cant be diamond level.
Also, I want to hear everyone's thoughts on this idea. When playing RTTS, if you play 2 years in the minors, by the time you get to the majors, the league looks so different. Older players retired, star players on different teams. If I wanted to pitch against Albert Pujols he might be retired by then. Or If I wanted to play alongside Kris Bryant he might be on a different team when I get called up by the Cubs.
What do you all think about while you are in the minors, it is only your player who is playing/accumulating stats and such, and then, when you get called up, it's still in the year 2020... Your minor league career in theory takes place from 2018-2019 (you wont see MLB results/award/stats during your minor league career) and then it could be opening day or could be middle of august, but whenever that is, you are placed in the year 2020.
