Madden 21 (PC)
Wondering how this year will be handled. Listings are up to order the PC version using the trailer and assets released today, I wonder if PC may be stuck on the 'prior generation' for a year or two. That would be my lone disappointment so far in what little we know about the next title.

Go All Out in Madden NFL 21 where a fearless new generation of rising NFL stars is poised to change the game. Packed with fresh new features and innovative gameplay enhancements, Madden NFL 21 delivers new levels of ingenuity and control developed to inspire creativity on and off the field.

The trailer today didn't look like much of a change for the consoles
or PC. Which made sense. The Next Gen stuff will probably be totally
different. I think Madden 21 PC will be on par with the XBOX ONE
and PS4 for this year. I don't expect any big changes for PC till
Madden 22.Comment

Re: Madden 21 (PC)
I wonder if the new releases will be the competitive platform anyway. It seems like it would be but it would put a big spotlight on it and any potential quirks/flaws, which the new releases always seem to have the first year at least.Comment

Re: Madden 21 (PC)
I was wondering this too. There’s no reason PC shouldn’t be next-gen. But I doubt we’re getting that one
EDIT: Welp, after today, definitely looks like we don't get the next-gen version. The next-gen trailer only said Series X and PS5.Last edited by PioneerRaptor; 06-18-2020, 06:57 PM.Comment

Re: Madden 21 (PC)
I read today where FIFA wasn’t getting the next gen upgrade on PC so Madden could be bypassed as well.

Re: Madden 21 (PC)
I am glad they are making a PC version. I don't console game anymore.
I can deal with the Graphics. I just hope they improve the game.
I have an I5-4750 with a 1050ti, Madden 20 plays great. Next Gen Graphics
will come with next Gen Hardware. Not willing to upgrade just yet.
I get most of my PC stuff from retired PC's at work.Comment

"There is no mention of PC support for Dual Entitlement. This heavily suggests that PC FIFA players could be in for a rough year. Once the release of the next-gen consoles comes around, the PC version of FIFA 21 will be an out of date, sub-optimal version of the game."
The Author is only speculating that since there is no mention of PC for dual entitlement that PC will not see next gen graphics. Well for one PC doesn't need dual entitlement since its already being entitled through Origin or Steam it would simply just be a patch to upgrade any graphics or such on the PC version you would not need to get a whole new version of the game for PC it would simply be an upgrade to existing.
Microsoft's big push on Series X is to bring the Xbox in line with Windows 10 PC as far as DirectX and so on. This was done to help developers with cross platform games by having the same platform used on Xbox and Windows 10.
It would fairly easy for EA to port over any improvements on Series X to PC I would think based on that.Go Lions, Tigers, Pistons, Red Wings, Wolverines!Comment

Re: Madden 21 (PC)
I just upgraded to a 2019 Dell G5 Gaming Laptop with the with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q card, and a Intel 9th Generation Core i7 i7-9750H hoping I won't have a tough time when they go next gen. Not about to spend another $1200 for a gaming laptop when new hardware comes out.
