Kinda like the new tackling animations and contextual awareness, the added animations for going out of bounds and things like that are long overdue.

Realistic Open tackling was the best thing in the clip for me, hearing about the removal of guided missile and more jarring tackling was great. The thing I disliked the most was the seemingly still too passive play of the deep safeties.Jordan Mychal Lemos

I liked seeing the tackling stuff. I'm not sure how I feel about having "attempts" for pass rush moves though and I wonder if guys like JJ Watt will get more versus say a lower tiered pass rusher to replicate that "Elite" status. The pass rush on AM can sometimes be nonexistent and some guys are just good at pushing their blocker backwards to make the QB uncomfortable. We'll have to see though. Won't make any declarations yet on my end.

Looks like some decent improvements for gameplay. Wish they wouldve went more in depth about improvements to the OL in regards to blocking the new Pass Rush moves. Just thinking those XFactor DL are gonna rack up 10 sacks a game again if they didnt change the OL AI that much...Comment

I don't know, if I hadn't seen it listed as Madden 21 I would have thought that was Madden 20. I'm taking the wait and see approach with this year's game but so far what I am seeing is me taking a pass on buying Madden 21.
The cfm blog will be the deciding factor for me.

There's more there than I expected. The tackling improvements could be a smaller thing that goes a long way. I'm waiting to see extended gameplay footage to see how it looks in addition to how well the "ball carrier fights for an extra yard" animations play out.
We're all so tired of the lack of physics with tackling and how momentum doesn't matter and defenders will constantly stand up you and stop you on a dime when you're inches from the goal line or a first down. If that has finally been removed from the game I think that alone will make '21 worth a purchase.

I am happy that EA seems to be owning some mistakes of the past (terrible in-between snap moments that break immersion, open field tackling issues).

Something that 4 Verts mentioned on Twitter that I didn't think about was that it seems like off target throws will now be contextual instead of random. That's another thing that is huge for me.Jordan Mychal Lemos

This deep dive shows some much needed polish. Which was really needed.
Unfortunately that’s still really all it is for the most part in my opinion. Polish.

3:13 The guy is in man coverage in a full on sprint. Ball isn't thrown to his guy but the DB can stop on a dime, do a 360, and get an easy pick?
There went all your awareness and physics talk in one play.
Also can't wait for the unrealistic agility and acceleration from human joystick to swerve defenders into triggering the new breakdown animations only to be left in the dust.Comment

The Bridgewater clip doesn’t give me much hope for the improved cpu qb AI. It looked like he just kept dropping back like the AI did in 20.Comment

I need to feel the improvements implemented and not reduced to title updates start appearing.
That dive for the WR reminded me of past Maddens, no awareness.Comment
