This is going to be interesting. What sort of split between Face of the Franchise and Classic Franchise are we expecting?

I'd imagine 80% FOTF and 20% Classic Franchise with a large portion of that filled with something like "the biggest change we have made this year is with accessibility. By changing the name to Classic Franchise our players now know and understand that this is different from FOTF. This is one of the biggest changes we have made in the past 5 years"

Classic franchise gives me the impression they are adding back everything we used to have.

I know that’s not gonna be the case but it seems like a weird thing to call it. Or it could be classic 360 franchise mode where it’s basically nothing lol.

Looking forward to this. This will be the decision day for me. I like what was talked about in the gameplay stream today but I've still gotta play it for myself. I just hope something meaningful was added to Franchise this year. I'm really not sure what I'm looking for because there's a list. But I'd LIKE to see a new more in depth scouting system and just more immersion related stuff in the mode.

Did they not promise last year that since franchise was mostly untouched last year that this year was going to be a big year for it? I swear there’s a video out there. But then again, they’ve been saying this since Madden 07 LOL

No it was untouched in 19, last year was the big upgrade year. Wouldn’t expect anything major besides the coaching carousel they wanted to get in last year supposedly

Realistically and not trying to shovel on EA, I would imagine it'll actually be a good chunk of how much "deeper" FoF is (with the extended Pre-NFL sequence and the deeper scenarios you can find yourself in once in the NFL) while the main thing they touch upon with regards to regular Franchise is the Scenario Engine 2.0 which will just be a set of new scenarios that won't really be that exciting. Maybe the menu presentation will be different? Maybe we'll see some new "news" type section that can react to the Scenario Engine. Maybe some tweaking to the XP progression system.

I'll be shocked if we get anything that remotely helps immersion like Coaching Staffs or better presentation. I'm sure we'll be seeing the same half baked Half Time show and boring Playoff/Super Bowl presentations we've had for years.
