Specific Problem: Advancing from console gets through to the last step and says retry now or exit online dynasty over and over again. Online tells me to wait 10 minutes and post to message board if it continues. Of course there is no way to post to the message board now.

Noticed that at least one other is having this same issue. Please help.

Had this problem in our Online Dynasty too. We had to quit it and re load someone else's game file. What I honestly think caused it was advancing from the website instead of in the game because since this occurred we haven't used the website to advance and haven't had any more problems.

Whats the bug?

Game Freezes when playing a head to head game in online dynasty, once it freezes , it will freeze every time the game tries to be played., no matter how many times you try to play. The only option is to sim the game and then the same error may or not happen when trying to play the next head to head game.

I am currently trying to clear my xbox 360 as a hope to fix the issue

Online Dynasty. only happens when playing another user , never versus the computer

It happens at random times, but it can be recreated over a dynasty season depending how many head to head games you have. It was triggered just by tying to play a game with another user coach in a dynasty. the game will load , get to choosing sides, loading playbooks and then when it starts to load the actual game to be played it freezes, normally during the kickoff

It is random but it happens to me in online dynasties pretty frequently

This has just happened to me as well. I was the home team (UGA) against another user (Ole Miss) in the SEC title game. The first two tries, I won the toss and elected to kick. Both times it froze right before you would expect the kicking meter/arrow to come up. The 3rd try, he kicked off first and we played until I scored, had to kick off, and it froze again.

Many 3-3-5 sets have improper alignments with man coverage plays against 3+ WR sets.

Pick Man Cover 1 out of 3-3-5 Bear against a 3 or 4 WR set.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? - Well, it all started the season before. I was leading the Heisman race by a mile, dominating with 4000 Yards of Offense on the season. Once I played the ACC Championship where I won on a last second heave that bounced off 3 guys for a TD, I thought I was a shoe-in for the Heisman. But, when I go to Bowl Weeks, I see that I lost by like 400 1st Place Votes. Like what the heck? The guy had a horrible game and won it. But, let's skip to Now. I just played a good Conference Championship with 246 Passing Yards, 3 TD, 1 Pick, and 2 Tackles. So, I sim off to the bowl week to see if I won the Heisman. And of course, the same glitch happened again. So, I looked under my Heisman ranking stats to see how the heck I lost. Well..... All I had for Stats was 2 Tackles. So, this has to be a glitch, because it's cost me the Heisman 2 Years in a Row.

How often can the bug be reproduced? - Every time I led the Heisman rankings leaving Conference Championship Week in the ACC.

Yes, by playing dynasty for any significant amount of time. Has frozen in just about every menu with multiple different dynasties and teams. I've stopped playing because it's too annoying.

I know i'm a game behind and this probably wont get read, but this game is just full of glitches and bugs. Wrong plays being run, players show up out of nowhere to sack the quarterback, tackle players when it originally shows no one around. Opposing players can apparently jump really high to block throws, etc. This is kind of ridiculous. I'm actually glad I purchased this game used because if I had to pay full price for it i'd be a bit upset.

I realize this issue on NCAA Football 12 will never be solved, but I am posting it to make others aware of the problem.

Whats the bug? Game freezes trying to advance past "Cut Players" in Dynasty Mode, but I discovered a problem that happens way before that.


What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in? (Gameplay, Franchise, Online, Front End, etc.....) In year 16 of an offline dynasty on the PS3. No TeamBuilder teams in this one, either.


How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? I thought the game was freezing because of the roster. I tried cutting other players and extra players, but the game always froze once I tried advancing past the "Cut Players" stage. I even tried simming past it, and it still froze.

Luckily, I keep several copies of this dynasty. I started pulling up earlier stages and examined if anything weird was happening. Then I discovered something really weird.

Coaches are disappearing after the "Coach Carousel"!!!

When I would sim or play through the coaching carousel, any coach that changed teams simply disappeared. What's even weirder is that the position was no longer available. For instance, I had the Tennessee OC take the Akron HC position. Not only does Akron no longer have a head coach, but Tennessee doesn't have an offensive coordinator because the coach that moved into that role also disappeared.

Any coach that signed extensions stayed with their team and are visible. Also, any coach that was promoted from coordinator to Head Coach also remained intact.

I tried to "Create Coach" to replace the missing positions, but that position isn't even available when I try to put the new coach on a team that had a coach disappear.


How often can the bug be reproduced? Every time. I end up losing 27-30 coaches each time I try it. From the earliest save I have of this dynasty, the coaches always disappear after advancing from "Coach Carousel" and the game freezes trying to advance past the "Cut Players" stage.


Do you have video or pictures? You betcha.' The first picture is from the Coach Info page and it is sorted by team. You'll notice Akron is missing their HC and Arizona is missing their OC. In the second picture, it is when I try to place a created coach as Akron HC. The HC position is no longer listed in the game.

I can confirm this to be true...but I also think I found the solution as well. The good thing about coaches is that you're always going to have the same amount of coaches each year...three to a team no matter what...or you should anyway...unlike player rosters where the roster spot fluctuate. We all know the issue with the player roster after so many years player ID's start duplicating.

The easy way to fix that is the way I would suggest fixing this issue with coaches as well...get an unedited copy of a stock roster that has the original coach I'd #'s. Open the stock roster up in the editor and export to csv.

Do the same with your dynasty file. Copy the original coach ID's from the stock roster and paste them into your dynasty file. That should make the coaches show up.

I created a dynasty and finally made it to the national championship after many seasons and whenever i try to load into the national championship it freezes and stays on the loading screen and crashes my ps3 but still plays the loading music. Any suggestions?
