Yeah I can upload the file I'm using tomorrow. It does have some slight rating adjustments I made after week 1. (Very minimal things.) And I reordered depth charts because random players were playing QB on a few teams. You may still want to do this though. It only takes a few minutes. Team rankings aren't updated, as well as Prestige and stuff like that. It seems like some coaches are updated, but I noticed some were still from last year (Louisville had Petrino still for example, I changed him because I saw it but I think there's a few more).

Any chance you can upload the files? All my games took a dump and NCAA 12 is my only one left working

I copied the R and S columns from the default file to the new one and Dynasty still freezes when generating schedule. I'm wondering I'm going to test importing the default Team on one file and the default Player on another. That way we for sure what's causing the issues. I'll report back with my finding in a few.
*Update-It works*

I made 3 files- your file with default player, your file with default teams and default file with your player. The default player file corrupted during the process somehow but both the default file with your player and your file with default teams worked. So it's definitely an issue with the Teams info. I'm not sure if I can help with the that part, but hope this helps you.

Any Chance you can post the rosters that work for dynasty thanks trying to avoid paying 80 for ncaa14 on Xbox thanks a lot

I just used the rosters for NCAA 13 and have gotten freezing at dynasty starting with "generating schedules".

I just uploaded the file with out an issue but is there anyway to have the depth charts correct.
For instance, Joe Burrow from LSU was listed as a HB, TE and LT. I moved the players around but every one was off.
any ideas?

I was hoping to get another update for this but just have no time at the moment. I just attempted updating NCAA 13 again. And I know the 2 games have some similarities. So if I was to update this then I would use the NCAA 13 roster and convert it down to NCAA 12. Shaving down 1 player from each team is the hard part about the NCAA 12 conversions since it only uses 68 player roster vs 69 players on NCAA 13 and 14 & and the next difficulty is using a mathematical conversion for player face# values...(so a bit difficult and time consuming right now).

Whenever I'm ready to update this again, I need a refresher on how to fix the dynasty freezes-maybe Masschaos can upload his version and I can try to use it as a guide to update. --To Fix this problem in NCAA 12 which MassChaos helped figure out in previous posts.--I don't have time to fix this now due to too many projects and work these next 2 weeks. Maybe by End of October,November, or winter holidays.

Update: (I am hoping to make one more final update in January to use as base moving forward for next 2020-21 season.but no promises since I haven't had enough time this year.)

So I understand what masschaos discovered for fixing dynasty freeze issues:
My roster file + a default teams data file imported should allow dynasty to work ---not sure what was wrong with the updated teams data file. but it may also be contributing to dynasty freezes in ncaa 13.--I will hopefully get to the bottom of this.

Is there a way to selectively upload just your roster file and leave the default teams file the way it is?

@pinbw did you ever hear of a solution for this? Does its just affect this year's roster (aka could i use `18 and start my dynasty from there? Desperately looking for a way to start a dynasty with our Gators.

I wonder if I start a dynasty with old rosters if I can then update the rosters... If anyone finds a workaround I'll paypal $10!

I know this is late and i apologize but for the first time ever i got this to work and I was wondering if anybody could help me. When you go onto the rosters and click on a player like when i clicked on joe burrow it froze so yeah i don't know if thats normal or what

Small update: Same 8-16-19 preseason 2019 file. only teams data changed to Default 2012 teams data with some 2019 season data added to it to hopefully repair freeze issues. -- file loads up in Xbox360, but someone can test PS3 & Dynasty mode and let everyone know if freeze issues are solved.

This is a very Late update, and small update to address what MassChaos mentioned in earlier posts about a fix for Dynasty freeze fixes. He mentioned default teams data takes care of freeze issues.

MassChaos never posted his file, so hopefully this file will work just like his file. to fix Dynasty Freeze issues. Depth charts will still need manual adjusting since they may be all over the place.

I have plans to get this 2019 season roster more updated to post season,
and a new 2020 season based on my NCAA 14,13 Big Merge-Mod rosters.
But these projects are delayed until I have free time in late July or August.--it turned out I never had enough free time, so not sure when or if I will get to this update. But Ncaa13 is still being updated.

I don't understand why some players become 50 OVR at when they should be much higher and show a higher rating in the Edit Rosters screen. This does affect the team rating in the Play Now screen. Do these players perform in game at 50 OVR or at their actual rating? Any idea? Thanks

No idea what is causing the rating on the play screen problem. I believe the players are playing ok like their edit screen ratings so all should be ok. But something more may be wrong with the teams or players data for displaying the ratings properly. I was just glad to be able to make the game updated and playable for those without the latest game, to give us all another lower priced choice to play the game.

Data being transferred and copied from ncaa 14/13 is the cause of issues. Before this problem, face data from ncaa 14 used to freeze the game on boot up. But it was later found face data used a different scale of numbers so the face value had to be recalculated to lower ratio values for the game to be playable. But faces/ color may be wrong for some players. As you try to convert down data from ncaa 14 to 13 to 12 it gets more difficult with problems like this. 11 is even more different from 12 in the data, so I never wanted to try converting that. A guy who makes ps2 2006,2011 told me there are plenty of columns of data that require a similar math conversion ratios that need to be applied to get the game playable. The end result is good but not always perfect.
