I'm biased but I think Tre White is waaay too low. He didn't allow a TD all of last season. He should at least be a 96.

Between the replies on Twitter and comments from non-Bills fans, I do feel good knowing that the larger NFL fan base feels a similar way to me regarding Tre White.

Just to add another layer to this, ESPN has been releasing a top 10 list of players by position according to 50+ league executives, scouts, coaches, etc.

The CB list came out today. The top 10 is as follows:
1. Gilmore
2. Ramsey
3. Tre White
4. Slay
5. Lattimore
6. Humphrey
7. Patrick Peterson
8. Marcus Peters
9. Xavien Howard
10. Byron Jones

Statistically Tre is top 2. First team all pro with Gilmore this last year so PFWA voted him top 2. League executives and coaches voted him top 3. NFL fan base thinks he is top 3. So it seems like Madden is the only one that doesn't come to the same conclusion.

Absolutely. Marshawn Lynch had an ineffectual final season in Oakland, retired, and spent his time retired showing up all over the place clearly high as balls. When he unretired to join Seattle, they actually increased his OVR.

You have TJ Watt who was a defensive MVP candidate (should of won it) and he's an 86? 
You have Minkah who almost single handed changed the steelers defense from mediocre to elite and he's an 87? 

Just another iteration of EA is a joke narrative.

2020 and gamers still arguing about OVR’s who’s main functionality in the game is 1) Depth Charts 2) Player Contracts?

So much of these front end rosters are inflated by high AWR rating additionally.

I’d rather we discuss who are the best at...
1) Man Coverage
2) Zone Coverage
3) Press
4) Run/Screen Support

What this does is establish templates for how generated draft classes should be scaled to because yes the ratings scale has been stretched, but there still is no purpose for how players are generated in Franchise as it relates to Archetypes and general football skill sets.

The current ratings model has basically all players crossing over into multiple skill sets which kills Schemes, Archetypes and Team Building in general.

Tell me what their positional ratings are and in relation to how Madden uses those positional ratings during gameplay, should players said rating(s) be increased/decreased?

For whatever it's worth, Pro Football Focus had Byron Jones as the 17th-ranked cornerback in 2019, as opposed to 7th-ranked in 2018.

Say what you will about PFF - I certainly have some issues with it - but we do know their grading is a factor in how Madden authors player ratings.
