When will roster be revealed, So far I saw Katter was not in the game, Is there any other top 15 omissions confirmed ?

wow Suarez would be a huge omission... this has me pretty worried about the roster in general. And if they haven't updated cowboy , its pretty safe to assume there's hardly any updated models

Due to the handful of fighters that have said they aren’t in, I’m not very hopeful for a deep roster. Missing Kattar and Font is pretty bad, they’ve been ranked for some time. Much like 3, this game will probably be dated and by the time they do the dlc, it will have only caught up to where it should have been at launch and thus still dated.

"More than 200 different" fighters is how its been described in a couple marketing blurbs. Last one had 235 I think so im guessing it won't be significantly different than last year...size/dlc wise anyway.

Interesting . I guess I’ll hold judgement until i see the roster reveal . Hoping that is soon so i can start getting my fight cards together

Iirc there wasn't a roster reveal for UFC 3, possibly to avoid backlash because it was so outdated.

There was, I remember EA revealing a new division each day. A few guys popped up on there that never made it into the game (Thiago Santos was the big one).

They should add +300 fighters at launch. They've had two and a half years for developing.

I loved the UFC 2 roster. It felt incredibly up to date upon release, and got me interested in a lot of fighters that I otherwise would have not known about. On that sane note, I was completely disappointed by UFC 3 roster. Felt like a major copy and paste. Half the roster was fighting for bellator 8 months after release.

If this roster is anywhere near as shallow as UFC 3 I am out. I don’t care if it’s the greatest MMA game ever made. As a strictly offline/event mode player, having to deal with a Roster where I can’t even replicate real life PPV’s in ludicrous. It would be like getting madden and not being able to replicate last years super bowl because the 49ers aren’t in the game.

I personally do feel the roster is going to be a huge let down because of the exclusion of ultimate team. I think so many people were added to the roster for UFC 2 because they were really trying to push ultimate team and micro transactions. I think this years game is geared more towards the CAF e-sports crowd, and the inclusion of CAF’s in ranked is pretty much the writing on the wall in my opinion.

Don't get your hopes up too much because I've seen "over 200 different fighters" being the go to quoted pitch in a few different articles...which is essentially no different than last game.

Without more caf slots or fighter share it makes playing offline/universe style very limiting.

In the new trailer I did see Thiago Santos, Johnny Walker, Deiveson Figueiredo and I swear I saw Tatiana Suarez too (even though she says she wasn't contacted for the game) so thats cool.

I just wonder if the introduction of womens 125 will mean some fat gets trimmed off of other weight classes in order to build this one up. Granted, I know several of the womens 125ers are transplants from 15 and 35 who already had models in UFC3 but will we get shortchanged? What I mean is, lets say there were 20 total BW's in UFC 3. It's safe to assume that Holdsworth would be out and Yan would be in, still leaving us at 20. It's also safe to assume Soto will be out...but does that mean BW will now be 19 in order to fatten up the womens division(s) or will someone like Marlon Vera (or any other male BW) slip in to replace that slot keeping it at 20?
