There are a few things I would like added in the career mode but why do we never get a coaching carousel? I've played years in to careers and I'm always playing the same managers.

If they fix the AI defense and the pursuit angles defenders sometime take I’ll be happy. That was a game killer for me this year.

Why can’t they put in a trophy case?! All these trophies and you can’t even see them. NCAA Football was dope because you could look back at all the trophies you won over the years.

Makes no sense right?

For a sport that is all about trophies to not have one is insane.

I would like better goalkeeper animations plus some errors from them a ball rarely squeaks through their legs. Also in career mode I have signed messi for Blackburn when his contract expires players on expiring contracts are so easy to sign. Yes managers why does nobody get sacked and I know for sure that ain't a licensing issue. And game face why is that not in there I am quite surprised hoping the ps5 version has it atleast .

Perfect EA - That match sim was in FIFA in the PS2/PS3 days and they removed it for literally no reason. Classic that they'd re-introduce it like the Pro Bowl in Madden like it's a new feature. 

"New additions create additional depth in matches, transfers, and training to give you more control over your team’s rise to the top."
Yes....? What are they??

"A new attribute that indicates how likely your players are to perform in the most crucial moments during the course of a game." That sounds like a much bigger opportunity to exploit scripting...

At this point all I want is gameplay that feels a bit like football. I have distant memories of fifa games where I had to use my brain when passing for example. I even remember some games with ... a midfield. Imagine that.

It all sounds very promising. But the more promising it sounds the buggier it will be in the beginning based on last year's experience. Expect the first half of the year to be a **** show to correct all the mistakes that are sleeping back there somewhere. I've also noticed people making bigger mistakes and creating bigger **** shows when it comes to work, so EA devs will probably not fail to follow, whether it's the pandemic or what causing this decline in quality.

So, this probably will turn out to be a fun game to play around February 2021 or so for me like FIFA20 did. It was a lot of patience but I've learned to deal with its flaws. Looks exciting on paper.

For the PS5 absolutely. Fifa 21 should look and play a lot differently than previous entries in the series otherwise its going to be an easy pass for me. Same thing goes for other sport titles. There needs to be an evolution not just in graphics, but in gameplay as well.

i always found goalkeepers in fifa too good...like they all are supermans with unhuman quickness and agility

Yeah they’re too good at times but at other times, especially near post, they’re terrible.
