6'7" Wide Receiver - How do I use him?

I recruited a 6'7" WR who has a 95 Jump rating.

It seems like I should be able to dominate the end zone and jump balls with him. Even long passes should be him coming down with the ball.

But I honestly don't know how to make these throws, at least not consistently.

How do I best utilize this giant?

What kind of throws? Bullets? Lobs? Something in between?

Edit him down to something realistic, lol. Feels like half of my time in Dynasty is always editing down the broken player generator.

My dynasty is in Year 2061. But this time, governments have cease to be and we exist in various anarchic societies.

Without regulations, societies have attained superior nutrition and a 6'7" WR, while still rare, is not unrealistic.

Edit him down to something realistic, lol. Feels like half of my time in Dynasty is always editing down the broken player generator.

I have not found that height and weight mean a lot in the game. If you want to use him to his best look at his release, route running, spec. catch, and catch in traffic ratings. This will tell you how to best use him.

Yep. I'm by far not an expert, many others on here have way more experience with the game.

I still recruit tall WRs because I enjoy being semi-realistic of drooling over a 6'4 WR with 90+ speed even though there's no difference from a 6'1 WR with 90 speed (again in my experience).

The main problem is I can't figure out how to throw a jump ball. I wonder if you play with the sliders though you can make it possible.

And the ratings you mention seem to be more impactful then height.

Spec catch>everything else for jump balls, and you have to user catch them and be good at leading the pass with the left stick.

When inside the 10 yard line, use the hot route feature to send him on a “fly” route. However, when inside the 10 yard line, he should release to the back corner of the end zone. The CPU almost exclusively plays man-press inside the red zone, so simply tap his button to throw a lob to him. He’ll win the battle more often than not if he has a high jump, catch in traffic, and release rating. It will also lead to some pretty sweet and rare animations.
