This looks like the non-sim stuff that 2k is supposed to be creating. Looks horrible.

Eh I’m hoping “sim” just means they can’t do an NFL schedule or use NFL teams. Really hoping they just use real players for an APF/Ultimate Team type game with realistic gameplay and a good franchise mode, but that’s another discussion

The old bring back a feature as something new. This was from Madden 11 on the Wii. This isn't going to set well with Franchise players seeing how resources went toward this and not Franchise Mode.

Nothing sits well with franchise players right now, let's be honest lol. At this point nobody should be surprised to see them look for more ways to reach the casual crowd. MUT is successful with the casuals. SS KO was massive with casuals. Of course they're going to keep looking for ways to get the casual crowd and generate more revenue through mtx.



Franchise players - and I'm one of them - would be naive to not expect that at this point.

On mobile, it sure does, but I think on a console it migh actually look pretty cool. Too bad it's supposed to only be an online/multiplayer mode.

I'm pretty sure the video stated it will be single/multiplayer on consoles. I would hope it's offline if it's single player, I guess we will hear soon.

When the mobile version of Madden has a better character creator than Franchise mode on consoles lol. That's a bit of a gut punch.

I have never understood why Madden doesn't utilize Gameface (like NBA Live did so successfully). The tech is sitting there... Use it?

Looks fun for Co-op play with friends. Hopefully they release a blog later today that explains the mode deeper for console owners. Had a blast with Superstar KO with friends, so I wonder if they'll combine this with KO.
