Disagree. There are lots of things that wouldn't be that great now, but they're still more than what we have now.
For example, training camp had unrealistic floating machines, but at least training camp existed.
There are so many more that there's no point in discussing it, since everyone knows the depth was an order of magnitude more than the current Franchise mode.
