Re: WCW Universe (WWE 2K19)

As the show kicked off in Pontiac, MI the crowd was still at full throat after the pyrotechnics show when the music of Ric Flair filled the arena. To a chorus of boos, The Nature Boy made his way to the ring with Arn Anderson, Chris Benoit, Steve McMichael, Woman, Miss Elizabeth and Debra. The Four Horsemen looked all business as Flair addressed the crowd.

Flair showed off his WCW World Heavyweight Title belt as he explained to the crowd that he was "The Man" and in order for anyone in the locker room to be the man they would have to beat him. He also put the NWO and Dungeon of Doom on notice that their was only one true faction in the WCW and that was, is and always will be The Four Horsemen! WOOOOOOOOOO! The Horsemen left the ring on that note and the show was ready to officially begin.

MATCH 1: Glacier was able to make fairly easy work of Alex Wright. The only offense Wright was able to produce was on the outside but upon returning to the ring Glacier took back control. Glacier ended the match with a Cryonic kick and the pinfall.

MATCH 2: WCW Tag-team Champions Harlem Heat faced off against The Steiners in a non-title match. The Steiners controlled the match early on but Stevie Ray was able to get a tag to Booker T who took control of the match. Harlem Heat took the win by pinfall.

MATCH 3: Kevin Sullivan was able to control the match early on and really was handling Double-A throughout the match. He looked to have the match wrapped up with a Devil Stomp. However, when he went for the pin Woman distracted the ref allowing Anderson to stay alive. The Enforcer was able to seize control and eventually hit Sullivan with a DDT and take the 1-2-3 victory.

MATCH 4: This match again pitted a member of The Four Horsemen against a member of The Dungeon Of Doom with Ric Flair taking on The Giant. In this non-title match Ric Flair made easy work of the big man and slapped a figure-4 on him to take the submission victory without really breaking a sweat.

After Flair/Anderson and the ladies left the ring Chris Jericho's music hit and he made his way to the ring with a microphone. The crowd booed as he patted his WCW TV Title and said he was the best wrestler in the WCW and nobody could beat him. He issued an open challenge which was accepted by the man of 1000 holds Dean Malenko.

MATCH 5: Chris Jericho bit off a little more than he could chew with this one as Dean Malenko used a series of submission maneuvers to upset the TV Champion in a non-tital bout. Dean grabbed a microphone but didn't say anything and just laid the mic at Jericho's feet and exited the ring.

MATCH 6: In the Main Event of the evening Goldberg made his way to the ring to face Hollywood Hogan of the NWO with The Outsiders and Eric Bischoff at ringside. While the three outside would prove distracting to Goldberg, Hogan completely controlled the match from bell to bell and hit a huge leg drop and then pinned Goldberg to win the match. The Outsiders would then do a number on Goldberg and leave him laying in the ring as they were pelted with debris from the crowd as Nitro went off the air.
