revisited madden 10 due to this article.....added some hall of fame players to teams payton/bears, montana/49ers, etc. (as many as possible without going over the salary cap). also added players who played on teams before such as gonzalez/chiefs, etc. i was able to balance out all teams to ratings 82 and over. played some good games so far.

Can you disable salary cap ?

Would anyone happen to have the roster update that had Favre and Vick with their career stats?My files with the AFL legacy pack are deleted and you can't buy any downloads or get a roster update on the server.That would be for Xbox btw.

I personally thought Madden 09/10 had the best textures and player models. I actually LOVED the Playcall window in 09. You could quick look up stats and I believe you the replay would run on it too. I wish they still had that for play calling

I stop buying madden that are release once a year.I bought madden 10 2 years ago,had never owned it previously.Like the Sam Spence original NFL films music the emergence in replays and start up screen has such a real football feel. Halftime is not the best, but it's the best Madden has ever release. The players ratings matter in the game as well. With Bruteforce and I have over 90 historic teams this game is MY BEST MADDEN.

I had Madden 10 when it first released and even bought the strategy guide for i as well. Now in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, ive been playing it non-stop. Found it at a vintage game store along with NCAA Football 10 for $1. To me, being a STEELERS fan, this is the best madden IMO. Check out my blog of this game and my CFM, I will never buy another madden unless they make it like this one. Its sickening to know that micro transactions are taking over the creative and basic aspects of the madden series.

Madden 07 on the PS/2 is STILL the best franchise/GM mode you can play on a console... and in reality it is not even close.

As sad as that is to say, it is true.

MUT and online play have ruined the madden franchise.

10 is considerably underrated.

A favorite of mine as well, with the glory days of Aaron Rodgers and that insanely talented Packers offense.

You know what the best madden is? Whatever one they released on PS2 last.

Yea, I never liked the gameplay once they went to the PS3. Started feeling too cpu automated/animation driven with much less control over the actual players and more about the playcalling.


Last one I really enjoyed was 05.

Probably the best franchise mode, except for lame position battles
If you like defense, this is probably the best version, maybe too overdone
The RB1/RB2 slider still worked on this version, kept stats realistic

I remember this version having some kind of draft issue.. was this the version where the CPU would only draft need?
