M21 Season Awards Preview S1 (AFC)

SEASON AWARDS PREVIEW: AFC

OPOY
QB - Deshaun Watson (HOU)

Watson lost his favorite weapon but still has way more than enough to roll off some wins! Look for Watson to have a pair of 1,000 yard receivers between Fuller/Cooks/Stills.

DPOY
LOLB - Von Miller (DEN)

The scoring offense of Denver led by Drew Lock and his endless weapons will force teams to pass! Setting up a great statistical year for Von (97 OVR)

OROY
QB - Joe Burrow (CIN)

Joey will have stiff competition for this award, but under the QB tutelage of NB we expect Burrow to flourish. If Drew, "Locks" in on Jeudy and not a mix of Sutton & Co. this could be his award. Long shot behind Burrow & Jeudy is Miami's Tua!

DROY
MLB - Patrick Queen (BAL)

Queen is the new prototype elite LB w/90 ACC/89 SPD/79 COD, user'd or not he will be all over the field. This defense is loaded which will really allow for Queen to shine, as teams will not be able to shy away from him.

BEST QB
Deshaun Watson (HOU)

This one will be close, and may be Drew Lock's award for the rest of the file. In year 1 Lock just doesn't have enough sauce yet, and Burrow needs to get a few more weapons. Watson with 13+ wins and a slew of yards + TDs edges out the competition.

BEST HB
Derrick Henry (TEN)

This literal ‘Titan’ will put up some numbers behind BigK and how this team is built. To slow the game down and pound teams! Chubb, Mixon and Bell could make this interesting though!

BEST WR
Stefon Diggs (BUF)

In a loaded position, I had to narrow the selection to a target who will be targeted often. Diggs has the attributes to play vs anyone, GStar is a very good user who will take advantage of Allen's big arm and Diggs speed and ability to get open!

BEST DL
JJ Watt (HOU)

Watt will have a big career with Seran usering behind him. JJ will miss Clowney opposite of him to draw attention however he’ll still cause chaos on his own! M. Garrett and J. Bosa will push for this award every year, and can see it rotating year to year.

BEST LB
Von Miller (DEN)

Von will be in a class of his own, with TJ Watt on the come up. Von will feast behind the high powered--fast break offense. Miller will post solid numbers as teams are forced to pass to stay in the fight.

BEST DB
Byron Jones (MIA)

Unlike Stephon Gilmore (NE), people will test Jones and this Fins defense and likely regret it. With Jones shadowing a designated receiver, this will free up Arlen to bracket you #1 or #2, his option. Jones will likely get tested the most of any of the 'elite' DBs on a young defensive unit.

BEST KICKER
Justin Tucker (BAL)

The Ravens will score points, and if it's not touchdowns they will most certainly approach the 50 yard line often. Lamar and all his weapons will set Tucker up, his range starts near midfield, realistically on his own side of the 50.! 98 KPW / 98 KAC!
