can we stop ignoring this? its been a week now and we still have no fix.

i cannot play ranked online every time i try it happens. ive tried reinstalling twice now but there is nothing to fix it.
Im in the middle of trying to get a refund as they haven't fixed it yet but sony isnt making it easy, im ready to start heading to consumer affairs as this product they've release is actually broken.

i havent been on this forum since ufc 3 came out and became and amazing game.
i had problems with ufc 3 but nothing on this level, fallout 76 had problems and people got refunds. This game you cant even play online if youre having the issues im having. im not stupid for assuming ufc 4 would be an improvement.
im back playing ufc 3 so sony cant refuse my refund for playing ufc 4 still. And my god lads its so much better go back seriously everyone go back its so much smoother and balanced, beats 4 in almost every way.

I'm gonna stick with ufc4, will probably become a great game with some patches.

What is the purple death glitch? I only played enough ranked matches to get the trophy, so I'm not sure what that is.

You know the purple background of the main and fighter select screen? Well basically it doesn’t fully load after you pick your fighter and you get these weird shadowy figures striking

Damn, that sucks. Are those of you who get the glitch unable to play quick matches too? Or is it just ranked?

The team is aware and currently investigating a possible fix. We will share an update on the timeline once the candidate fix has been fully tested and approved. This is a priority for the team and they are working hard to make sure it is expedited.

hmm just sound like business speak at this point. it shouldnt take a week to fix something soo game breaking. ea should be putting as many people onto the issue as they can, ive never heard of a AAA game doing something like this where one whole portion of the game is unplayable

ranked and blitz for me, but it does happen in quick match too just not everytime

It's not business speak. Look at the launch patch notes and the notes from the recent patch. The engineers are working hard to fix issues and listen to the community. They didn't even have to publicly acknowledge this issue or say what they're doing about it. A lot of companies would just roleplay an ostrich and stick their heads in the ground.

They certainly did have to acknowledge it me and many of my friends are trying to get refunds because of it, not exactly something they can ignore even if this forum would like too.

the patch notes don't mention this glitch, i understand they are tweaking things here and there but a lot of the stuff they are fixing shoudn't get in the way of fixing a problem holding people back form ACTUALLY playing the game. no AAA game would leave something like this for over a week.

Dayum, should have just given Geoff the pay raise he was requesting. If Geoff was still here, I'm willing to bet this either, A) Wouldn't have happened at all OR B) Would have been fixed in a timely manner, as expected of a AAA title.

but, since you asked for just 1... Halo MCC was broken multiplayer for months and months, nearly a year, before they basically ripped the matchmaking system out and had a new 343i team rebuild/repair/fix it.


** NEWS FLASH ** games have millions of lines of code. sometimes there are bugs even the best QA teams miss. devs aren't trying to rip you off... and speaking of UFC4 specifically, i've played over 20-30 matches with 3-4 different friends and over 20 ranked matches in ranked with randoms. i've never seen this glitch so it's not rampant.

also it only effected a couple game modes out of like 10. ufc offers ranked,blitz and quick match. i can only play one consistently.

GOOD FOR YOU. there are plenty of us experiencing this issue. i love how most the replies to this issue are just ea boot licking on every forum from reddit to OS. this is bad and there should be more outcry against ea doing this with such a simple game. ITS 1V1 its not like they have to sustain a lobby with 16 players.

its funny how mr coder here condescends me and then goes to compare a game like ufc4 with halo, they arent even in the same ball park when it comes to online traffic and online capability
