About this thread:

So I am not sure this has been a thing in the past here or not.

The main reason I bought this game is for the course creation and to play on my created courses.

Is there anyone else out there on OS that is a course creator that would want to join this thread. I know there are other sites that there are more creators on and I am a member of one but I thought it would be cool to do here.

The goal of the thread is simple. Share your WIP courses or your completed courses. This way it gets the word out on your course and others who play it can provide constructive feedback for you. If you have a port to share, that is great.

Don't forget to share pictures of your work!

Also feel free to share if you are streaming your build that way others can check it out!



Rules of the thread:

1. Be positive. Do not disparage your work.
2. Share as much or as little as you like.
3. Feel free to share betas to get play tests on it.
4. Provide constructive feedback to others only.
5. Be polite. No trashing others work.
6. Shared work must be your own. Meaning don't steal someone else's work and claim it as your own.
7. Recreations are allowed.
8. No autogen courses allowed. You must create from scratch.



I don't know what this thread will or will not turn into but I figure that even if there are a few silent creators on here they can share their great work.

The next post will be reserved for created courses that are complete so everyone can come here and see them.

I look forward to seeing awesome finished courses or WIP.

I will start.

I am working on a course that will be a conglomeration of all of my favorite holes from courses I have golfed at over the years. This will be a more long term project.

I will also be starting a course for another site starting next month for a creators contest and will have 4 months to perfect it.

Once I get going on these projects, I will share pictures.

How do you download someone else’s course to play?

You don't really download...if it's like TGC 2019, you just go into a local match, go to the option to select/choose course, and a bunch of filters come up. You can search by course name, look for courses that were recently published, select from courses that are handicap rated (these have at least 300 plays), etc.

Created courses are stored on the server, so you have to be connected to the internet to play any of them.

We should also make a list if the best user created courses that we have played.
FIRETHORN is really great. Looks just like Augusta.

No you can not but you can in non career matches and in society matches.

I think it would be a good thread idea for another thread definitely. This is more intended to be for users on here to share their work. If a user here created it that is awesome and we can share it here if they want.

Folks at the TGC Tours forums are saying it's been removed. I guess Barstool Sports advertised a Society event there today...word probably got out to the Augusta folks. You might still be able to play it in your previous played course list, but it cannot be searched for.

It is not searchable, but I can still find it in my favorites. Glad I looked for it this morning.

Both my tgctours approved courses are now ported over to 2k21. The Wyndgate CC and Madden's Turn. Two very different courses but both should be a solid challenge. Interested to see how different they play in the new game. Enjoy!
