Like the title says I know it's early but who do you think could be next years cover star. There's a lot of exciting young players coming up that would be cool options. I'll start I'm thinking it will come down to the juniors and be either Ronald Acuna Jr. or Fernando Tatis Jr.

When was the last time a pitcher was on the cover? Has Scherzer ever been on it?
As exciting as young stars can be, I kind of want him on the cover next year. The guy is a legend.
I'd settle for Big Sexy though.

I’d like to see two different covers, one for PS4 and one for PS5
Fernando Tatis Jr on PS5 for the “future” of the game
A pitcher on PS4 version just because and would like a legend or at least someone who’s been around a while

I’d almost bet my life it’s Tatis. Young star, and also located in the same city where the game is developed. Super easy decision for them to make. Also Tatis went viral during quarantine for playing The Show and hitting homers as himself.

If they went the legend route maybe they'd go Jeter since he's part of the 2020 HoF class. As a digital only buyer, and someone who is planning on buying the digital only version of the PS5, regional covers have no impact on me. All I ever see is the icon in the OS.
And I want that icon to be Big Sexy smiling a big, infectious grin.

If I had a vote, I'd pick Tatis Jr. Blooming into the biggest young star in the game currently.
You can tell he loves playing the game, he's fun and trying to make baseball "fun" again... But he's also not a jerk about it.
