Hey everyone,

I'm back again making fictional draft classes for NBA 2k21 for the PS4. A couple years ago, I was inspired by the great work of JB, so I decided to make my own as well and I am doing it again this year. If you have not looked at his classes, take a look. Below is a link to his page.

Please let me know how you think the classes are or if you have any questions at all. I am open to all criticism because I am just trying to make the game more enjoyable for everyone else. Let me know if I need to tweak anything at all or if you found something weird. Lastly, I would love to hear about how these guys are doing in your MyLeague, so once you use them, let me know!

Finally, and one of the most important things. Make sure you take control of all 30 teams after the draft and sign all the 2nd round picks. The computer never signs 2nd round picks. If you do not do this, it will never give the sleepers time to develop. It is also not realistic.

Spoiler This year, it is my plan to release 8 classes. With these classes you will get 60 fully edited players from their tendencies, badges, appearance, backstories, etc. It is my plan to have their tendencies match up with CelticLG’s roster so that they blend perfectly in game. The classes I have made are very similar to JB’s in the sense that they will have studs, busts, solid role players, gems, guys who never live up to their potential, etc. In the past, I have understood how peak age creates all of these, but with the new “boom or bust” progression system of 2k21, I will have to do some research on how these can be created with the new system. I went back and did research on every draft class from 1985-2020 and have found the average number of Busts, Bench, Role, Borderline Star, Star, HOF, and Generational talents in each draft class. It won’t be the same every year, as some years could be stronger than others. My ratings are typically lower like the roster CelticLG created, but this is how I view overalls. Bench: Under 73 overall Role: 74-79 Borderline Star: 80-82 Star: 83-87 Hall of Fame: 88-90 Generational: 90+ Obviously those are arbitrary and every MyLeague is different, but these are the guidelines I used when creating players. On this page, you will get a month by month update for these fictional prospects on how they are doing in highschool, college, and overseas. I will try to build anticipation for players that you will draft, to make it more fun for you. I will not be doing scouting reports this year in a google slide, but you will find everything you need on this forum about the players you want to draft. It might be a full scouting report, a few sentences, a game recap, etc. For some players, you might be getting updates on them for four years. I will also attach a google doc with the full season recap if you do not want to click through every single page of this forum. I will also be including pictures for some of the players. In the year 2022, I am anticipating the NBA allowing high school players to go straight to the NBA again and this will be incorporated in my classes. You will see HS players going pro, less freshman and sophomores declaring, since they have the opportunity to go directly from HS, and more guys staying 3-4 years in college. 2K20 glitches ages pretty badly, but I have found a work around to give these players their appropriate age in the event they do not fix this glitch in 2K21. Details will be on the 2nd post in this forum. A little bit of an overview for how these classes will work. You will likely find that highschool, freshmen, sophomores have a higher potential than upperclassmen, but they might be a bit more raw, and HS players will carry a higher bust rate. Upperclassmen will likely come in at a higher overall, but have a much lower ceiling. Obviously there are exceptions to these rules, but I am trying to make it as real as possible. You will still see young players dominating the top of the draft. Finally, and one of the most important things.
