I bought Mamba Edition but my console downloaded the standard edition

How can I get into contact with xbox/2k. I paid for the mamba edition but it installed the standard edition. I'm freaking pissed right now.

What's the difference besides getting the PS5 version aa well? Did you not get the preorder bonuses?

I didnt receive any of the bonuses such as 100k VC, 10k myteam points or digital items for myplayer etc

Same for me, I put a trouble ticket in with 2K support.

I got the Mamba for the PS5 version and I didn't get the 100K VC neithet.

Same here. Bought it this morning. No bonuses (VC, MT, clothing, etc.) at all. The game didn't even download with a virtual Kobe cover, it's the one with Dame. If anyone gets this issue solved lemme know. That's literally $40 down the drain. 2k straight stealing from me.

Submit a ticket with 2k tomorrow if the bonuses aren't showing by then. There were a ton of issues today, and I think it was the stores causing problems. When I logged in before work to make sure the game was preloaded, it wasn't, and 2k21 wasn't even showing on the store.

Edit: A quick Google search, and I cannot confirm if it works, but one dude said to go to your themes and download the Mamba Edition Theme, and that seemed to work for him. It could've been a coincidence, and I cannot test it because I got my Mamba Edition stuff.

Same exact thing happened to me! Pre-ordered a digital copy on 8/31 from the PS store. Went to the store yesterday and it shows that I bought the standard version. Checked my credit card and I definitely paid for the Mamba version ($109 charge on my card).


I chatted with PS support on their website and they told me they are aware of the problem and to just do nothing for 24 hours. I asked if I could still download the standard version while I wait and he said once again to do nothing for 24 hours.

So I didn't even download the standard version as I'm scared that will prevent me from getting the Mamba version when they fix this issue.

Woke up this morning and fired up the PS4 and it still says I only bought the standard version.

So now I'm just stuck with no game to play as I wait for who knows how long for this issue to get fixed.


Edit: My console didn't auto download the standard version, but in the store it says that I bought it and gives me the option to download. Is it supposed to auto download when you pre-order?

Everyone downloads the standard edition, the Mamba Forever content is a code that's supposed to unlock in the standard edition and give you the items you paid for. The VC, the Kobe items, the MyTeam content.

The issue seems to be that's it's not unlocking for most people.

This was like yesterday or Friday. They also said a few hours. I hope that at some point next week, but not expecting it soon. They're quick to fix VC earning exploits though, takes them a couple of hours maybe.
