The Madden Stadium Experience Mod for Madden 20

So its unclear if we are going to be able to mod Madden 21 and if we cant I'm likely to stick with Madden 20 because of all of the gameplay and graphics mods.

Because of that I decided to work on creating a couple of new mods:

One is a mod that updates the jumbotrons in the game. Every team has a new default jumbotron (and ribbonboards) and I've added new jumbotron videos for alot of the events (3rd down, TD, First down etc.)

The second is a 2020 update of my stadium ad mod with the following changes:

Chargers: New ads and Flags for their new stadium

Colts: Updated Harrison banner. Multiple updates with the new Colts font.

49ers: New Edgewall.

Bucs: Tom Brady stadium pic replaces Jameis Winston pic. Updated Edgewall.

Bills: Removed all New Era Stadium signs except for the biggest one (that isnt a texture and cant be edited).

Giants: Cleaned up pepsi ad - Replace NFL Flag with POW Flag (find flag) - Replace "Home of the Giants" with Championship banner.

Jags: Changed Tunnel covers to Teal color. Removed US Airways tarp covers and replaced external stadium photo with one from 2020 team.

Jets: Find "Home of the Jets" and replace with championship banner

Saints: Replaced saints banner with sugar bowl banners.

Seahawks: New Facade Banners (Adams, Lockett, Wilson).

Texans: Updated players on edgewall

Titans: New Facade Banners: Brown and Tannehill replace Mariota and Walker (Done)

Together they are the Madden Stadium Experience Mod.

This mod will give each stadium a new realistic look and feel. Here is a video that shows some of the many edits in the mod.

The mod is best used with Sabo's Start Today mod which will allow you to run a season with the current NFL uniforms, new stadiums (not accurate because Sofi and Allegiant Stadiums arent in the game but close enough) and current rosters.

FYI, make sure to set the Jumbotron ad above the Start Today mod. If its set below, it will cause a crash when you play a game in the Raiders new stadium.

Redskins/WFT fans: You have a choice. There wasnt enough WFT content for me to replace the Redskins Jumbotron content so I kept the Redskins material in both mods. If you want to remove all of the Redskins stuff, download Sabo's Start Today mod and it will overwrite all of the Redskins stuff.

If you want to keep the Redskins stuff, download the Start Today project file, revert all the Redskins files back to the original files and export the mod.

Just updated both mods. I fixed a bug in the Jumbotron mod and added new Bucs content to the stadium mod.

9/8/20: New update: New default ribbonboard for Falcons and fixed a Broncos bug. Also, I'm starting a new project where I'm adding TD horns/songs for teams that have them. First up is the Falcons. The sound is attached to the jumbotron video. The only downside is that the horn plays through the extra point.

Depending on what people think I will work to add more.

MANDATORY UPDATE:

Alright I promise this is my last update for the day. lol. I realized I updated the wrong project file so half of the team files werent in the last update. So, I fixed that screwup in version 2.5. EVERYONE WHO HAS DOWNLOADED THE LAST 2 VERSIONS....PLEASE DOWNLOAD 2.5 SO YOU GET THE FULL MOD.

While I was fixing that screwup I added the Packers TD song "Bang on the Drum". Its awesome. The only issue is that it doesnt play through replays so when someone scores a TD, you will hear it for a few seconds, the replay will play and it will stop and once you return to the play call screen it will come back in.

Its not perfect but I like it. Let me know what you think.

They are in new stadiums if you use the Start Today mod along with this mod. They arent the exact stadiums like in Madden 21 but they give you a different feel.

yes i saw that but i was wondering since m21 is hot garbage and they have the new stadiums if you can drop the file into m20 and they work.

No. That’s impossible as far as I know. We change no tools to even access files like that in Madden 21. If we did, we would just mod Madden 21.

The mods are great. I like the Chiefs stadium very much, the Superbowl champion display on the boards ...
One thing I already noticed in the last versions: The displays on the big screens (the fireworks at the Chiefs, the flying birds at the Ravens) are very common and look monotonous over a long game.
I don't know if you could put more in there, but a little more content would definitely be good there.

Just a little suggestion, as I said, the mods are great

9/11/20: As promised, here is Version 3.0 of the Jumbotron mod. Here is what I added:

- TD songs for each NFL team (except for the Raiders). The sounds arent over powering but loud enough to hear through the crowd noise. The only issue is that the song plays once a TD is scored, stops during the automatic replay and plays again at the play selection screen. I really dont have an issue with it and I think it adds to the game. The reason I didnt add one of the Raiders is because their Oakland TD song was "California Love" and I have a feeling that is gonna change.

- I couldnt just stop there though. After learning how to create longer Jumbotron vids, I decided to redo most of the default Jumbotrons for each team. Each video is now 30 seconds long and not just a graphic on repeat. Its clips from the team's 2019 or 2020 kickoff highlight video. Now depending on the vid, you will see some players in the clips who are no longer with their teams but I did my best to avoid them.

I wasnt able to make new defaults for the following teams: Redskins (will add in 3.1 because I just found a vid that works), Raiders (Same as Redskins/WFT), Bengals (Too much Andy Dalton in the old vids), Broncos (Couldnt find any vids but low quality hype videos), Cardinals (Same as Broncos), Giants (Same), Panthers (Too much Cam in old vids), Pats (Too much Brady in old vids), Rams (I saw one vid that might work but its not on Youtube yet so I cant download it), Chargers (Waiting for their Season Trailer).

I also made a small change to the Stadium file. Let me know what you guys think.

Once again a mod that is so much better than what EA does - the first clips I saw are so great. Finally you see players and the audience up there.

(The Ravens may have the problem that you see the Jumbotron really all the time, but I have to do a whole game again to judge that)

Let me know what you think about the Ravens one. The Ravens are a team that has the rare problem of having too much content. I spent like an hour trying to decide which video worked best. The one I chose is a weird one but the most recent hype vid is basically an old man walking around the empty Ravens stadium and I didnt think that one worked best.
