    Lewis rookie status

Is there any reason why Kyle Lewis is not classified as a rookie. Ruins it for the rookie award chase.

He only had 71 at bats last year. You need at least 130 at bats or 45 days, I believe it is, on the Major League roster to lose your rookie status.

I know the rules but in the game he is not considered a rookie which ruins the rookie race.

Ah .... I gotcha. My bad. I play a lot with the Mariners but I always sim the first few years so I've never really noticed that was the case. But yes, I agree then, in the game he should be considered a rookie.

I even changed his days of service to 0 and it didn't work.

No one seemed bothered that the potential rookie of the year Kyle Lewis is not classified as a rookie. He has no chance of winning this award. Is Sony aware of this. I'm a stickler for realism. Thanks guys.

Did you leave any feedback on the official The Show forum? I know some devs browse here occasionally but posting on the official forum couldn't hurt.

Yup, I just finished my first season and noticed this. Their awards needs a whole makeover tbh. Still going by wins and RBIs etc even tho they’ve got advanced stats in the game. Think the baseball writers association has shown they do and have been using more advanced stats as younger writers get in. Time for the show to update that aspect.

Yusei Kikuchi has been my best pitcher all year. He's 12-2 (He was 12-1 before a 1-0 loss to the Phillies yesterday), with a 2.44 ERA/1.33 WHIP. His K/9 is only like 6.44, and his BB/9 is slightly over 2.

With that, he's currently in 2nd in the Cy Young race, up on Shane Bieber and his 8-1 record, 1.80 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, 11.45 K/9, and BB/9 slightly over 1.

Bieber has also pitched 15 innings more than Kikuchi. I'd like to see what would happen if someone won 20+ wins with an ERA in the 3.5-4.5 range. Would they win it over someone with 15 wins and a much lower ERA?
