More of the same from last year for me, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. However they really need to nail 2022 or that's ballgame for PES, IMO.

Game feels very smooth
Great spacing
Seems like auto replays have been toned down a bit...still wish they gave you the option to turn them off.
Fatigue works great

I only played about 5 minutes before starting work this morning. Playing on Pro, had 3 fouls called on me within the first few minutes. Way too small sample size, but I'm hoping fouls have been addressed at least somewhat.

I have only played a half of Portugal v Argentina while the game is downloading. Game feels smooth and I like the openness to it. Can't really comment on anything else until I can turn up the difficulty though.

Played four 10 minute games on Pro difficulty last night and it played as well as I could expect. Played matches in the Euros, the Brazilian and Dutch leagues and an EPL match Pretty much the same as last year I did see some nice saves by the keeper in 1 v 1 situations that would have normally been automatic goals last year so that's promising. As for fouls seems about the same to me. Had a few for both myself and CPU. Mostly CPU though and of course some particularly bad missed calls in the box as I got absolutely crushed a few times.

Played about 8 games so far all on FUMA Top Player difficultly. The subtle tweaks to gameplay are good. Plays smoothly, feels more responsive and manual passing is really enjoyable. Just downloaded the Option File from PES Universe so will be getting that up and running soon. It is fundamentally the same game but as already stated, there are a few tweaks that have helped. Just my thoughts.

Did they actually touch the gameplay. I thought it was just a roster and kit update. I liked last years gameplay but wasn’t going to get this years update but I may if it’s playing even better.

They have made some subtle tweaks. It’s more responsive, dribbling is better, refs unfortunately seem the same but some of the collisions animations are better too.

Agreed. I’m enjoying it so far. I’m not a PES vet or very good at the game, but I’m trying manual passing and advanced through balls and shooting.

I’m terrible but it feels like a completely different game with these settings.

Love using manual for everything, even if you need to drop a difficulty level it’s so worth it. What camera angle is everybody using?

Yeah manual is the way to go for me, it was a struggle and I disliked at first for me but once I stuck with it and figured it out I having a hard time going back niw. The passing angles you can play the ball bring it to a new level and you just aren't able to see on assisted passing. Playing an Athletic Club ML now and I am able to play to balls ahead and into open space to Inaki Williams to really allow him to showcase his speed even more.

I've been playing a lot of PES 2020 lately. And I immediately noticed the small tweaks to 2021. It feels more fluid. More responsive in most situations. I've also been seen far more tactical build up play. The AI going side to side a lot more once they get into the final third. Or maybe I've just been playing so much I've gotten better at defense in PES.

Dribbling and pace are much improved!

More Responsive therefore better
