I'm liking PES 21. It's funny you mentioned the ball physics as that was one of my favorite bits last year and that continues. I love that the ball can just bounce into open space like in real life. It's also one of the areas that I struggle with in switching back and forth with FIFA. The physics or lack there of in FIFA throws me from time to time in PES.

I found a reddit post about the tactics problem in PES 20 and while I don't believe the user has updated it for 21 yet I'm going to try and apply them in for the update and see how it plays. Watching everyone play long balls was my biggest frustration in 20.

I'm enjoying this year so far and will hold off updating the game until I hear good things about future data packs.

If you guys have any suggestions on the types of things you'd like to see by all means post 'em. PES is a complex game and Konami doesn't do the best job at explaining things.

Good thing. That guys a pes tactics legend.

PES Universe will usually incorporate his tactics into one of their Option Files.

Great review KG, hopefully we see an update on tactics next year as Konami as fell way behind with Fifa in this department which is shocking to me. I started removing Long Ball tactic from all teams in my option file. I just use the support range to emulate that and any team set from the 7-10 range whether it's possession or counter attack you will see them play more longs balls.

Kevins analysis about PES are always great, hard to find anywhere else these kind of information what hardcorefan wants to know.

Just wondering if defense responsive is any better than at PES2020? It needed more tuning to have better responsive to control defenders.

Have to buy PES 2021 after rosters are updated end of october and sametime hope datapack 1.0 dosent brake gameplay.

I held off from getting this game early on, after reading some feedback and watching some live streams, I'm still holding off until Konami releases their data pack, there aren't enough pros over 2020 right now for me to pick up 2021.

I bought PES 2020 for the PS4. Do I have to redownload the entire game or does it update PES 2020? And more importantly can I switch between PES 2020 and PES 2021 if I want too?
