Interestingly, there are three textures for each graphic in the file, each decreasing in size. So, in the uni file there are five helmets and a jersey.
The jersey has three versions, a 256x256, 128x128 and 64x64. Each appears at different points in the game, depending on how well you can see them. The codes are directly after each other in the file.
Pretty cool, but modding will be a little more tiresome.

Actually there are
7 jersey textures per uniform that need to be edited!! Those
texture sizes are
256x256, 128x128, 64x64, 32x32, 16x16, 8x8 and 4x4. Located at
offsets 32720, 98256, 114640, 118736, 119760, 120016 and 120080 respectively. That is why only editing three of those textures always showed broken jerseys playing it in PSP or PSVita as in the attached image.
