That 2k trailer... man... that was next level. I can't imagine Madden will do anything but disappoint in comparison, but I'm looking forward to seeing what they put out.

EA will show us "Next Gen" Madden 21 on Nov 10th. Once you download the graphics patch onto your XSX you will get to see what all the fuss was about.

NBA 2K comes out with effin Mark Cuban in there along with realistic court presence (reporters, players, tv producers)

E3 EA trailer... and madden still had the same sidelines lol

Hoping that was a v early build and they added to that. But ya never know with madden in terms of “what you see on sundays”

I saw the NBA 2k reveal and man... those graphics were absolutely amazing. Totally stunning. I cannot even lie... I was just awestruck and it takes a lot to impress me.

But now what? That's what I expect. I expect every single PS5 Xbox 720 or whatever it's called video game to have such graphics and visuals. In the case of Madden, what will the gameplay be like? Will I still have slow LBs running step for step with fast WRs? (probably.) Will franchise be the same? (probably). Will blocking kick returns be the same as they have been for the last 15 years? (probably)

Seeing these same things happen, but with shiny graphics, will not impress me.

I doubt it would be to the level of 2k21 level. But I'm still interested. I never had an issue with Madden's visuals outside of poor renders. Even that E3 EA trailer didn't seem like a huge leap in visuals. The problem Madden has with its sizzles trailers is most of the angles and shots are scenes we rarely see in game unless it's in replay. Madden 21 current gen looks great in stills in the right angles. With what we saw in the Luka walkout clip forgetting about crowd, there had to be about 30-40+ people on that court and so much going on screen. We don't have same Memory constraints as last couple gens. So sidelines should be better.

I don't think they even have an official release date for next gen yet. I would have to imagine it's 11/10 as well. I would have to imagine they start going over things within the next week or two. The later they go, the more I feel l3ss was put into next gen. I don't want it to just be a higher fidelity port.

I haven’t played a basketball game since bulls vs lakers on sega but I am very tempted to get for Ps5.

Madden needs some serious upgrading to the crowd and sidelines too for next generation. Make it where we can download music and play it during kickoffs, between quarters, during timeouts, etc. where it sounds like it’s blasting out of the stadium sound system.

EA really needs to allow dynamic attendance like what you see in MLB The Show. If a team is doing well, fans show up. If it’s not, there are lots of empty seats. If the home team is getting blown out, fans begin leaving early.

Be careful what you ask for. Think we're all going to be pretty disappointed and this will be a minimal port over with marginally better graphics/presentation. If it was anything like 2K they wouldn't be offering it as a free upgrade.
