Has anybody tried being an “interim coach”?

Like start for example as nick Saben, sim the first 5-6 games and look at the worst G5 teams. Chose one that “fired” their coach mid season, create your guy and take the job as an “interim”. I might try this with ULM since they are awful in real life. If the team is winless you have 5-6 games to make your case or get canned yourself. Maybe even keep running the same schemes as the coordinators you inherited or completely change them on the fly. Just a thought. You could do the same for coordinators

That's a pretty cool idea. I've never done that. I have made myself right before coaching carousal as an oc at terrible school and took whatever oc job I got offered.

That's usually what I do but this idea just came to me. I might do some sim tests to see how this works

The game doesn't fire coaches during the season, but you can manually create another coach and replace them at any point during the regular season.
