    I don't care if it's called Pee-Wee Football 2K22, I'm ready for an alternative.

The football gaming genre has been stagnate for years. Am I alone in wanting a football that represents the sports better than Madden even if it's arcade? We need something different. Something that's brings the fun and excitement back.

I think it is a PC exclusive but I'm looking forward to Legend Bowl.

Legend Bowl is a throwback to the classic 8-bit and 16-bit football games of the past. Take to the gridiron and fight your way to becoming a football legend! Enjoy sim-style gameplay, realistic weather, detailed stats, franchise mode, tournament mode, fully customizable rosters, and much much more!

It's Pixel Art and I've recently been gravitating towards things like this again.

Javo said on his last livestream that he'd like to bring the game to consoles, so that's good news.

A coin toss and refs?!?? What year is it?!?

But seriously I just want a football game that represents football and the strategy of X’s and O’s.

Sure I like the NFL and College Football and the XFL but I LOVE football and just want that to be represented in gaming

At this point going by the games 2k makes and Madden’s big feature this year I’m 99% sure we are getting a playgrounds and some version of the yard. All I need to know is when they are available to preorder.

The older I get the less I care about having NFL rosters. I would love it. LOVE it, but I'm willing to use my imagination with a good football game.

I tried Backbreaker, All-Pro2k8. I bought Maximum football and likely will buy Axis Football.
I just want a good football game with some replay ability.

So yes, give me Generic Football 2k21. Staring John Jones at QB for the Tennessee Football guys, I don't care.
Make it look nice, deep franchise, customization and true football.

Any idea when we can expect news? I figured since holiday season and 2021 is near we would hear from it

I would guess after the official end to the NFL season, so after the Super Bowl.

2K to me is the only company that's capable of being a true football(note that I didn't say nfl) alternative. Shame that 2k has to make an arcade football game though, but I'm hopeful that one day they can make a sim football game again. If any future 2k football devs read this, PLEASE include a franchise mode and great player creator.

And imo the indie football games axis and maximum, unlike what biased shills like ryanmoody will claim, are unplayable and so far behind, that I don't think they will ever even be decent football games.

Back to 2K, I feel if marketed heavily, they can make a "pro football fictional" universe, starting from high school, then college, then pro all in one game. With all the talk of sports games running out of ideas, that would be unique. I would buy that game so damn fast!

I really wish the game of football would be popular enough to get sales. If the NFL or NCAA logos are not associated, casual fans won’t buy it.

Just imagine a football game with the customization of Pro Evolution Soccer or whatever it’s called. At least the old versions, I haven’t followed that game in years.

2k engine, 2k graphics and fully customizable!

Maybe add micro transactions where gamers can sell their custom teams/rosters and 2k gets a share. Of course that won’t be legal with official licensed stuff but that would be great.

It's been said before, but imagine if 2K5 would have been released on PC!

We need a 2k football game for pc! I hope they don't neglect the pc when they release whatever football fame they are making.

Seeing the depth and quality of 2k's MyNBA for the next gen gives me hope for their return to football. Even if they decided to do Pro Football sim style game without NFL teams, I think it will be fantastic.

Seeing what 2K has done to 2K21 makes me wish Live 21 was coming...

What a bloated mess of features the game has become. It's why I wait until late to buy the game on a deep sale anymore. 2K has turned that franchise into a clunky mess. If Live was still a thing, I wouldn't buy 2K at all.

And I love arcadey and colorful modes in sports games. But they have to actually be fun. This just seems like pointless layer on top of pointless layer, making it take longer and longer to get to actually play on the court.

To me, that 2K update should be enough to enlighten folks looking for competition for Madden that 2K is gong going to even farther in the direction EA is already going with Madden.

I have no idea how anyone looks at what 2K just put out and thinks that bodes well for 2K football.
