Seattle Cougars second Franchise Season in building mode.
Expectations to catch the Playoffs are low and unrealistic said the Manager of the Team.
First Season they missed the Playoffs and ended the Season as 26th in the League with a 39-38-5 and 83 Points.
J. Sanderson ( 2020 Pick 8 ), Q. Byfield ( 2020 Pick 10 ), the high rated Picks need to grow. First line Center A. Galchenyuk ( Expansion Draft ) had a good first Season in 19/20 and equalized a career high in Points with 23 Goals, 33 Assists and 56 Points. Alexander Romanov ( Trade after Expansion at the Off Season ) had a great developing year and will play in the Top 4 line this year. Also to watch are from Carolina traded Defenseman J. Bean and C. Timmins which was traded for C. Tanev from Colorado at the Trade deadline last Season.
Kaiden Guhle will start the Season as 7th Defenceman but more likely will be send down back to Prince Albert into the WHL for development.
A. Raanta need to find back to a better performance. Could be a possible Trade Candidate during the year.
