Yes.

It was possible to interrupt the back lunge far too soon, while still in mid-air going backwards, and suddenly shift to forward momentum. The delay was changed to be more in line with the animations.

Head movement and minor back lunges were not altered, but major back lunges aren't supposed to be used in such an offensive way for super fast shots.

If you liked the major back lunge counters, you can now use the new back lunge into a straight or uppercut. Works well. It's LB and flick back on LS.

Some of my favorite KOs ever came off these counters.

Thanks! Figured it out once I got off the forums yesterday. Very cool, but still absolutely mind boggling they took out the major lunge counter.


The pressure fighters are sliding, and skating all over the octagon, and being magnetically sucked into connecting with strikes they werent even in range for, but god forbid the defensive fighter misses a frame so they can actually defend themselves.
