$27.99 Black Friday

Best Buy Black Friday! That is a low enough price to get into next generation. I imagine it is for a lot of us that has not bought the game yet waiting for updates.

Good entry point, I'd say. By that time, whatever massive current gen November patch they're planning will likely be out and the next-gen release will only be a few weeks away.

I already have M21 (when it was $29.99 on Prime Day) but also plan to get FIFA 21 for the same $28 on Black Friday. I plan to keep both games shrinkwrapped until we find out just how much of an upgrade next gen will be.

Keep in mind that most stores have extended holiday return periods --- if you aren't buying it as a gift and aren't too crazy about playing it on current gen, keep it unopened and return it if the next gen upgrade isn't what you expected! At least that's what I plan to do.

Cautiously optimistic, but more cautious than optimistic at this point...

Yeahhhh a lot of people keep talking about their hope in this November patch but they're ignoring the EA blog about it and how tiny it truly is. It's barely doing anything. I think EA pushing it 3 months down the road created hype for it but it's crazy small.
