The Game ended with just 2 sacks when I was connected online. Like I said, night and day difference. Gaslighting has become a major problem in modern society.

Saying I’m having a placebo effect after seeing something 6 times is gaslighting. You’re making me question reality. Saying I’m seeing something that’s not there when I’m really seeing it there. It’s one of the major tenets of gaslighting. You’re basically calling me crazy in a passive-aggressive way by saying placebo.

No. Nobody is gaslighting you. I am saying the sample sizes are too small for me to agree with you. That's all.

I would like to think there is another reason you are experiencing these results beyond being connected to the internet versus not being connected to the internet. Because logically, that does not make sense, at least not on its own. That's all I'm saying. I'm not saying what you're experiencing is not happening.

The live playbooks aren't even triggered by an internet connection. They are updated after every patch, which is why you can use them even if you're offline.

Just got done with my first year preseason offline franchise with my Dolphins on XBOX and did not receive one error message at the end of any game.

I only had this issue after the last patch it's been constant since, the being offline worked so thanks. I did think the only other thing I changed was auto fill roster, so it tried turning that back off and played online only had time for 1 game yesterday but game did not have the error, might of been 1 off need to try it more.

Still having this issue. I tweeted Clint about it again. Hopefully they’ll fix it soon. Still stand by the game playing better when connected to the internet for cpu/cpu. Had several other guys agree with me on this. Just makes gameplay smoother and helps with the sack issue.

Madden Voice is open again. I lodged a complain on this issue. Please, get on there and do the same. The more of us that report this, the quicker it’ll get fixed.

Happened to me on the PS5 as well (playing the current-gen version via backward compatibility). Same crash as what was happening before one of the patches fixed it.

Crash is still happening. Just had a great game wiped out during the test.

So after playing two separate offline franchise games, I get the same blue error screen that I got when M21 first dropped. I have a PS4 and an Xbox One and the only system that crashes after a franchise game is the PS4. This happened last night and again just now. I’m wondering if patch 1.19 is causing this. Up until that patch, the PS4 version was just fine. Has anyone else seen this too since patch 1.19 on the PS4? Also, if anyone plays Xbox One, has anyone seen the crash I’ve described? I’m posting this here since I play my franchise games as CPU vs CPU in supersim slow.

I really try to give EA and “Patches” a chance, because I love football so much and they are the ONLY football game out there right now, but this is ridiculous. Can’t play Franchise in slow sim!!!

“Patches” or better known as Madden 21, has continued to disappoint, I still have a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that EA and “Patches” have been the exclusive representation for the NFL..

“Patches” as I call Madden 21 now, has continued to disappoint, I still have a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that EA and “Patches” have been the exclusive representation for the NFL..
Outside of the crashing issue, game plays amazing with stayodd’s roster and the sliders I’ve got going. I just use the workaround and adapt. It plays to good not to use the workaround. It’s frustrating, but I’m having too good of a time to fuss about the crash. Maybe they’ll fix it soon. Hey, play now is fun too. No crash there.
