In this case, something weird IS going on between living rooms, but there shouldn't be a massive shift in image quality BETWEEN games in the same living room if they are both HDR 4k optimized games.
All totally valid and fair. For some reason though some games do just struggle with HDR. Red Dead Redemption 2 I remember being weird and not looking quite right. The Resident Evil 2 Remake I felt was a little hard to find something that worked too. I don't know enough about any of this to quite know why, but we have seen some games in the past just not quite handle HDR right regardless of how well your actual TV and all that are calibrated.
